"We got trapped here in Crescent City by bad weather and ended up eating here breakfast, lunch, and dinner for a few days. Each meal was delicious, but this was our favorite. Clam chowder, Cafe salad, and a steak sandwich. We shared the steak sandwich and salad, and it was more than enough food. Everything was done to order and it was very good. Service was fast and friendly. The restaurant is clean and bright, all the windows really helped even though it was stormy outside. I'm glad we found the Good Harvest Cafe. Try the California Benedict if you're there for breakfast."

"What kind of place charges $15-$30 a plate, serves poached eggs, but you can't get egg whites ? This one! Edit: you better like your breakfast how the cook or manager like it, quote the waitress, "the cook didn't always listen when I eat crispy hashbrowns, he doesn't like them." Re-edit: I've eaten a lot of potatoes, something was wrong with my plate, wife thinks they're bad. Definitely not crispy even on the retry, definitely not extra crispy."

"Honestly there just wasn't any flavor to the chicken fried steak I got. I added back a star to the food rating because my girlfriend's fish tacos seemed to be okay, but I was hoping for much better. My eggs were scrambled nicely and our server was very nice."

"I like the restaurant itself and the service was okay. But I must say the food was absolutely terrible. I ordered eggs Benedict and ended up with some kind of hollandaise sauce that I first mistook for fry sauce. It did not taste good at all. Then the butter started separating. That's not a good sign. I also ordered sausage gravy to put over the hash browns. The hash browns were actually mashed potatoes. I don't know if they were cooked out morning or they're left over from the previous night, but that was not very pleasing. And the sausage gravy was worse than what you can make with those powder packs. You just add water to in the store. I don't think I have given a restaurant this bad of a review for their food and over 20 years."

"Cute place but over all an average place. Our appetizer came out with our main food. Chicken cordon blue was delicious! Calamari and the Shrimp Florentine both lacked in flavor."
