"Jon is the man. He has tuned my car twice with two different hybrid turbo set ups and I will have him tune my car again if I change things up in the future. I’m not sure why his name doesn’t come up more often in the forums or Facebook groups. He really knows what he’s doing when it comes to n54’s. Every tuner is going to have their own unique strategies for tuning but I was on the verge of spending a couple thousand dollars to “fix” an issue that I actually didn’t have. "As if Jon needs any more great reviews... but, here I am. After i got my built motor with stage 4 race heads and closed deck motor, steel rods and forged pistons, for my 2010 335XI, I wanted him to tune it but it had a few issues the other shop I always took my car to couldn’t figure out, even after days, sometimes weeks of looking at it. Just from a log file, Jon was able to see the issue, it was faulty plugs from a previously bad injector the other shop replaced. JUST from looking at a log and not even seeing the car!! Incredible smh. Then, after we worked through the 93 octane tune and that was all excellent, we moved to E85. The other shop couldn’t figure out why my car was going into limp mode at 23psi. Jon noticed right away the port injection was not working. Fast forward past 2 shops trying to figure that out, and He was spot on - the PI was not working. So I had a local BMW guru Long Vu help me with that and now my car is at 22psi and we’re still fine tuning it, hopefully to 30ish before long. On a side note, Jon is also an unbelievably nice guy with a curious mind and cares more about his customers than anything else. I couldn’t possibly recommend him highly enough..."
