"Despicable management and particular staff members. Won't go into details about what happened to my friend who worked there, but they know what they did. Shameful. Will never go there again."
"Outdoor staff very rude. I brought several bags to donate. They were sorted and placed in what I thought were the correct bins. A man came outside and started yelling at me for placing a hat in the clothing bin. He informed me that hats go in the homegoods bin! I asked if he was sure and he said yes! And stood over me while I moved the hat to the “correct “ bin. I will not be donating or shopping here. Not only is the staff not helpful, they are condescending and rude. If we are delivering our donations to the store, unloading them, placing them in bins…. What exactly is their job????"
"Why all the negativity???? Goodwill is a fantastic place that gives people chances to have a job learn and grow. Sometimes the people are fantastic and sometimes they are learning. Be patient and kind and you will do well. This goodwill is solid and I generally get great service. I have run into a grumpy guy in drop off, but he was just trying ti get sorted. No big deal. The store is cleaner than most. Sometimes the shelves are overloaded, but generally in good shape. I do like this one and visit usually once a week."
"I visited this Goodwill store this morning. I found two items and as I was being checked out the cashier said “that item is marked wrong”. It had a green and white Goodwill sticker priced $1.99. I looked at her puzzled of course and she turns it over and said “it’s 5B”. I asked what does that mean, her response was “ it’s $5.00”. Does Goodwill have secret codes or what’s going on here? I think she wanted it for herself and gave me a bogus answer. It wasn’t worth the hassle to ask for a manager. My first time at this Goodwill and my last. I hope she enjoys it. Bye Felicia lol"
"I went to drop off donations. I've never had any issues before. Upon arrival I asked the employee where would he like me to put the boxes/bags I had because it was a mixture of items. He instructed me where to put them so I began unloading my vehicle. Another tall male with glasses that's worked there for a while came out 3 times and was huffing and puffing everything I put something in the bin. He then got in front of the bind I was putting the items and was throwing things around. As I continued unloading he said "ma'am over there, you almost hit me in the face" "there is another bind you can put that in". He was so frustrated that while I had things in my hands he turned around and nearly ran over me. I replied " I wouldn't have almost hit you if you wouldn't have come and stood right in front of where I was putting things like I was instructed" He huffed and went inside. I closed the door on my vehicle and he walked out with a female employee and continued throwing away some of the things I was donating. I will find another place to donate from now on. There was absolutely no reason for his attitude. If people didn't donate he wouldn't have a job. If he is throwing away things and breaking things when people bring to donate the company losses money and others don't get the help they need. The things I brought were in good condition and some things were high dollar name brand items and he was treating it like a punching bag. I was trying to help by donating but if that if how things are appreciated I could have taken them to the dump myself. I understand some may have disabilities but kindness and customer service cost absolutely nothing. If people can't be kind then they need to work where they don't have contact with the public. Very disappointed and will take my things and business elsewhere. There was absolutely no reason for that behavior. Apparently the previous comments I have read about this same individual have went unanswered except for the same automatic response. He has obviously not been delt with and they continue to let him work to take items in. To the review that mentioned things are broken on the shelves I experienced tonight why great things that are donated are broken. He slams things around and doesn't care at all about his job. Even if they are packed nicely in boxes/bags."
