"It's really sad to see all the food in the freezer wasted after the freezer quit working. I don't understand why corporate doesn't sell everything for a dollar(since that's it's choice of company's name), to help get rid of it all instead of letting it turn and throwing it all away! At least call up a church, there's 4 in the area that would come get it all to give to the people in between jobs! What's wrong with people these days? Rather throw it away then give it away, to your own customers too? Sometimes it works better for you when you give back to the community you make money from! It would be good publicity! Other then that, we stop at this store at least once a day as it's on the way home, we end up spending at least $200 a week here, it's a shame they can't keep the stuff that has us running in for stocked, like the white chocolate chips, 6mo and still an empty spot, but what hurts the most, is after shopping -getting to the register and the prices don't match the prices on the shelf, the Pepsi products went up in value but the sticker says different. With inflation the way it is, people can't afford to spend more then what they got. If I'm calculating my purchases as I go, I shouldn't have to pay extra because no one is changing the shelf stickers, specially after the time I spent shopping and waiting on a long line, because dollar general can't find employees. Here's a hint for corporate, if no one wants to work for you, you need to pay more wages then McDonalds is paying! 15 to 20 an hour, so employees can earn a decent check to pay their bills!"

"Pulled up 5 minutes before close, I work retail so I get that it's inconvenient to have someone come in right BEFORE close. The doors were locked, the person at the register saw me and completely ignored me. (I can only assume) the manager came out of an aisle, looked at me and said they were closed. I help up my hands and said "5 minutes." She just stated again they were closed. Wildly unprofessional to lock your doors and turn away customers when your store is still supposed to be open."

"Review – Dollar General – location unknown – C check Yelp for it – This Dollar General is pretty much just like all the others. They have the same kind of products and pretty much the same price. I like to shop this store because they have a lot of variety. That’s pretty nice because a lot of discount stores carry weird off-brands. Some are pretty good and some were just nasty. I will not buy those again. Dollar General has some name brand so discount prices. The employees were very helpful to me when I had to ask where to find a particular item. She knew right where it was, even leading me to the aisle to show me where to find it. I appreciated that; I had already been wandering around far too long looking for it. I should have just asked to begin with."
