"Living on the West Coast, where sushi spots are as common as yoga studios, I've been rather spoiled with top-tier Japanese cuisine. So, when I happened upon a Japanese eatery during my travels in a Southeastern state—far removed from my usual sushi haunts—I couldn't resist the chance to gauge their prowess. Deciding to keep it simple for a fair evaluation, I ordered a Philadelphia Roll. To my delight, this spot executed the classic roll with a flair that could give my West Coast favorites a run for their wasabi. It's heartening to discover that even miles away from my gastronomic comfort zone, quality Japanese cuisine is accessible and thriving. Well done, indeed!"

"Came here just before 2p for a weekday quick bite after arriving in Nashville. Didn't want to spoil my dinner appetite so I only ordered the Seafood Volcano Roll. It wasn't busy so my order came out in record time 5 minutes and you get a text when it is ready. - presentation was impressive with sushi rolls stacked like a volcano - taste of the dynamite sauce over the scallops and crawfish and stacked California rolls was delicious, and the portion was pretty good for $18 and change - the only tiny downside was the rice on the rolls -- they were on the harder side instead of soft tasting :/ otherwise would have gotten a 5 star! Staff at counter was friendly and the whole Assembly Food Hall had a chill vibe. If you sit outside you'll get some music in the background along the coveted sitting, indoors there's still plenty of seating throughout the hall. Definitely will return to try out a few other rolls. :) This place is great for a quick and delicious bite."

"Horu Sushi is an excellent sushi bar located in the assembly food hall. With an extensive menu and fresh ingredients you won't be disappointed. I had the spicy Salmon roll, and it was very affordably priced compared to the more deluxe rolls. It was delicious to the last bite! The wasabi was very fresh, if that's your pleasure. The food hall atmosphere deserves its own review, but I have to say I came on a great day when it was busy but not so busy I couldn't find a seat. It was very clean."

"Seafood volcano roll was among the best sushi I've ever had. Loaded with a heaping portion of decadent crawfish that tasted like lobster claw. A little pricey but well worth it. Eel roll was pretty run of the mill but not bad for the price. Mochi was also very good. Tasted about the same as Bubbies but ice cream wasn't as hard as I'm used to with grocery store mochi so it was if anything a bit more enjoyable to eat. We were there at about 10pm on a Saturday night and we enjoyed some great live music in the food hall while we ate our sushi. Would definitely go back!"

"Delicious sushi and pot stickers from the food hall with many amazing restaurants. You could easily overlook this place for some of the fancier looking places in the food hall but you would be making a mistake. This is one of the best places in the hall. The Nashville Hot roll was very tasty with great flavors and some spice. The pot stickers had a great crispy crust. Overall this is one of the top places to try at the food hall."
