"Both Raising Canes website and Google says it is open until 10. There is NO mention on Raising Canes website that this is part of the University. The building itself also does not show this is part of the university. It looks like a regular Raising Canes. I showed up at 6pm. Waited in line for 30 minutes which is a substantially long time to wait in line, when I was next in line I was informed that they weren't sure they could take my order I had to give them a minute. It was almost 6:30. Then a EXTREMELY rude female worker from the back came flying out the door told all of us they close at 6:30 and that the university dining decides their hours NOT Google (well does she not know Raising Canes website ALSO lists 10pm as the closing time not just Google). She goes on to say even if we wanted to take your order we couldn't, turns around computer to show it says offline (this was all very fast and rude approx 30 seconds) then she flee back to the back, no time for questions. Being next in line I said to the cashier who was there that maybe they could have informed people they would be closing at 6:30 so that we wouldn't have waited 30 minutes in line. They just shrugged their shoulders. I have had nothing but good experiences with Raising Canes in the past but this location isn't it. Save yourself the headache and empty stomach."
"This location was on the campus of the University of Tennessee, so the dining space was shared with another restaurant. The food was really good- hot and fresh. The service was mediocre at best. I couldn’t even get a cup for ice water without paying for an extra fountain drink, which was ridiculous, given that we’d all already ordered a drink, too."
"Chicken was ok nothing special Fries soggy They were very generous and gave a TON OF THEIR SAUCE did not care for it tho used BBQ sauce I had at my house Would I come back? No"
"The food was honestly average. People hype Canes up so much, but Zaxby’s, CFA, and Popeyes have better chicken. The atmosphere is not bad, you will be dining with students."
"Chicken was Hot! Right up out of the fryer! Tasted great! well seasoned and delicious crinkle cut fries. Cane sauce is pretty good. Sweet Tea was really good. Ordered the box combo. FOH Nikita was very friendly and helpful. Definitely customer focused!! Thank you for a delicious meal!"
