"I loved the old Bimbo's. The fried chicken and tenders were so good when the little ol lady ran it. It is now an Indian restaurant called The Spice Hut. I love Indian food and theirs is so good. A little expensive but well worth it once in a while. The butter chicken was so good. At spice level 6/10, was a good heat level. 7 would have been perfect. The jasmine rice was fragrant and fluffy. The garlic naan bread was perfection."
"This stop was a pleasant surprise as to the low gasoline prices plus very clean inside and outside with lots of pumps available. Mobile Oil bought it a few years ago when it was a Speedway stop for Petro."
"Stephen King would love this place ... Needs to be an attraction.... Great in the older years when locals owned it.... Now... Creepy .. think it is where dead clowns go.. clown hell... IT . lives there now...."
"The bathroom was broken and dirty. The store is disorganized, most items were not priced. When I inquired about cost, the prices were very high. The store is so full of various items it is not a place to bring my kids."
"I'm not even sure where to start. I'm guessing this was carnival like attraction back in the 80s. It's bimbos clown mascot must of been some kinda of theme once upon a time, sadly time has taken a toll. The firework warehouse must of been a draw for customers back in the day. The deli seems at home at a local high school football game not a busy rest stop. It's a mix between south of the border and circus circus."
