"I ordered the build your own taco on my lunch break. The ingredients was steak cilantro cheese and onions. I ended up getting four small pieces of steak the rest of the taco was packed with onions and cheese. Could’ve got a better taco at Taco Bell."

"At around 5:00pm on Monday, I walked 4 blocks from the VA hospital to come try this food. Had the Steak Quesadilla ($15.00) and added a side of the rice (literally, one measuring cup of rice for $4.00!!). Very good food but (being so close to Vanderbilt) it is catering to the 18-29 year olds who's Father is going to be paying for it. That was the other thing. One cup of rice was $4.00! $1.00 more and I can buy breakfast for me and my Dad the next morning at Hardee's. I even went the extra mile and bought the special plastic glass for my beverage to add one more dollar to their cancer awareness fund. The 20'somethings that worked there did their job and looked like they were having fun doing it too. Again, the food was very good but this is a place for a younger generation who is spending their rich Dad's money. I am sure that they will continue down this same path they are on but if your going to charge that much for the food, at least have your staff wear some polo shirts with the logo and not sweatpants. This is only my opinion."

"These tacos made me somewhat of a sad mama. I ordered the ahi tuna-si taco, and the justice is served grilled shrimp taco. I ordered them to go, which may have been part of their failing, but I ate them ten minutes later, and they were quite cold already. They were also just very thin and limpy. I think there were three medium-sized shrimp in the shrimp taco, which just doesn't cut it for a $7.50 taco. The flavor was good, though. The tuna also had good flavor, but the quality of the fish was iffy. The chips also missed the mark, and seemed somewhat stale. The salsa was good and spicy, the quacamole was just okay, and the slaw wasn't a favorite. I finished my food and my stomach is not satisfied. Ultimately very disappointed in an expensive taco that tasted far worse than tacos I can get for less than $4 elsewhere."

"Went in for dinner last night and got a taco platter. I got a classic beef taco that was kind of similar to Taco Bell but with better ingredients. It was edible but not really memorable. My second taco was The Mayor which was a bland chicken taco. Again edible but nothing really special. My side item was street corn and this was really bad. It was overpowered with lime and cilantro and almost no mayonnaise like street corn should be. This was difficult to eat and I didn't eat much. The best part of the meal was the chips and salsa. Light delicious chips and a fantastic salsa. I ate all of that and put some salsa on the chicken taco to give it some flavor. The staff were excellent and very helpful and had no complaints with them. The atmosphere is awesome except the patio area kind of smelled like urine. We were gonna eat out there but decided to go to our room. I wouldn't go back but I wouldn't discourage someone from giving it a try. Lots of people seem to like it. I just found it kind of bland."
