"I remember when they first opened but truly have never been a big fan of the food at this establishment. I love the interior which is like an old school restaurant from the early 1900’s. The tile on the exterior is so beautiful. We love the bar, wood and brass. It is a little dated and threadbare on the edges. I also like the promise of the menu, it looks great. Lately we have tried the burger, fries, milkshakes and pizza. The Milkshake had a strange flavor even though it was hand spun. The fries were old and brick oven pizza crust was underdone thus inedible. We scrapped the toppings to the edge of the pizza and ate it that way leaving the crust in the middle. The burger was average tasting but the toppings were good and generous. I have heard the salmon has been pretty good over the years."
"The Hamburger and Onion Rings were fresh hot and awesome! Mom got country fried steak and my sister got the trio appetizer and they were both good as well. The chocolate malt cake and ice cream was delicious. Will go back again soon!"
"Their prices were very good for what you get. As a family of four, our bill without taxes and tip was $38 for lunch. The kids plates are a great deal for the kiddos. We should have ordered soup and sandwiches because everyone around us had amazing looking plates. I had the country fried steak dinner which wasn’t bad but wasn’t very good either. The mashed potatoes and coleslaw were damn good though. My wife’s fish tacos were pretty bland so I suggest staying away from that as well."
"Location: 4/5: Easy to get to, easy to leave. Shares a parking lot with a strip mall...so, traffic is occasionally backed-up. Ambiance: 3/5: I think the feeling of the Dalts is suppose to be retro, but it just feels old. The booths, decor, the floor, servers' desk, and paint just feels dated and not "back-in-time." Value for $$: 3.5/5: Not too bad. My wife thinks my Philly ($13) and her French dip ($13) was over priced, and I think the prices were okay. We also had the Triple Appetizer ($14), which was definitely over priced for what it was (4 chicken tenders, 4 cheese sticks, and 4 fried green tomatoes)...quantity was okay, quality was not okay. Additionally, everything tasted as if it was fried in the same old oil. Cuisine: 3/5: My Philly ($13) was not good. Having spent a lot of time in Philadelphia, I am a little picky about my Phillies, and a slice of American cheese does not make for a good Philly. The meat was a little off and my roll was a little stale. My wife had the same opinion about the meat and bread on her French dip ($13). The fried green tomatoes from the Triple Appetizer ($14) would have been great if it wasn't for the bad oil taste. The chicken tenders would have been great except for the oil taste. The cheese sticks...well, you get it. Services: 5/5: Our server was awesome...she was funny, patient, and attentive. I wish we could remember her name to give her a big shout out. Crazy socks lady...if that rings a bell, then that is her! You were awesome. Thank you! Hygiene: 3/5: Everything was just okay. Tables and booth was old and clean on top, dirty everywhere else. Plates, cups, and utensils were all very clean. Bathroom was clean enough. Recommend: 3/5: We had a good time, and we would recommend. However, we will likely not be back unless we are with others who really wanted to try Dalts."
"Dalts was great! It was a perfect brunch spot. Everything was clean and our server was awesome. The gentleman who ran our food was also super friendly. My only complaint is that my husband’s steak was small, especially for the price of it. Of course, you can’t always control the cuts of steak you receive so we can totally overlook this. Plus the amount of ham that I had in my omelette more than made up for it! I just personally wouldn’t recommend the steak. I wish we’d had time to try a milkshake!"
