"The BBQ and house sauce was incredible. I had vinegar based slaw and the baked beans tasted like none I had ever eaten before. Real homemade goodness in every bite."
"A staple in Springfield, Tennessee that spans over multiple generations!!!! Not only do the locals frequent, but people come from all around, and if anyone visits once, they always return! Great family atmosphere and the food is delicious!!!!!"
"The BBQ is good, not great … a 4.0 out of 5.0. Not much hickory smoke flavor. I prefer pulled pork over the more chopped consistency that they have. The portions are small for the money, both for the BBQ and sides (see photo for size of container vs black pepper shaker - $28 for two plates). My sides, white beans and salad dressing cole slaw, were tasty. Cornbread was good. Would have added points for more generous portions and longer strand pulled pork that holds moisture of meat better. Simply increase portion sizes and this would then be a 4.5-4.7!"
"I paid $12 for some over fried gas station chicken at a BBQ place that does not sell BBQ chicken! Small portions. The chicken at Church's gas station is fresh and taste better than this place. Customer service sucks too."
"BBQ was ok. Ordered fries and they are 3 potato wedges. They are not doing ANY refills due to COVID they say yet each table had shakers, bbq sauce, ketchup all touched all day long. Not even a paper plate. Your food is in containers on a tray all separate. Staff doesn't wear masks it seems its more about profit than COVID. Almost $10 for the tray."
