"First time here, went through the drive thru to pick up a call in order. The lady who helped me on the phone as a first timer was great. I got there at quarter to 2 and thought they would be mad, but they weren't, had my food right to the window. BLT was chock FULL of crispy bacon. Roast beef was delicious. Read bad things about the breakfast, but I think if I did drive thru to pick up it would be ok."

"You cannot beat it for a meat and three, or however much you choose to eat! There are numerous choices and it spans from breakfast through lunch; consistently good homestyle dining! family owned for generations, they have maintained the service you desire to accompany the good food!"

"I understand this is a local favorite I've been in the area for 10 years. I think the only restaurant I actually like in Springfield is the depot. Anyways my omelet was dry the biscuits were thick and heavy. However the breakfast gravy was great. The coffee was not great. The service was excellent the food was timed well I'm just not going to eat there again. This was a one-and-done for me. One more thing the fried zucchini squash whatever that was good...."

"This was a wonderful place to eat for breakfast. Its one of the first places I have ever been that has cooked my eggs perfectly. Pancakes were good and bacon and country ham were great. This place is busy. You seat yourself but it surprisingly didn't take long. Larry even came to our table to see if everything was good."
