"First, off let me mention I had to wait a whole day to write this review because the level of anger I had was beyond this planet!!!!! Let me start off by saying I work in the medical field and use to recommend this Walgreens!!! However, after my recent experience, I wouldn't suggest this place to my biggest enemy!!! My son was in the ICU for over 3 weeks fighting for his life. When we were finally sent home he had a follow up appt. with his pulmonary doctor which who prescribed him 3 medications. The scripts were sent automatically over to this prison on the 20th. After work on the 21st I waited in the line for almost 45 minutes. Just to be told his insurance wasn't active and the medicine wasn't covered. I explained to them it's not possible and was given the only option of waiting to contact the insurance company the next business day. No empathy at all, wasn't offered any type of coupon to help with accommodations, specially knowing that it was nothing wrong with his insurance... So now here we go the next day I reached out to the insurance company they confirmed exactly, what I already knew. Nothing was wrong with the insurance. She gave me all the accurate information that they would need to verify... I decided to go ahead and call them before I left work to avoid any long waiting time.... The lady took all the information and said she was saving it in the system and that i would be fine once i arrived!! I get off work wait in line for almost a hour just to get to the window and be told the same thing from the previous night. "His insurance isn't active and the meds are not covered"!!! I explained to the lady you must still be looking at the info from last night, I literally just got of the phone with someone that was updating the account!! She said well she must didn't save the new info. But can you just drive around i need to help the next person behind you!!! Are you kidding me!!! you just screwed up and all you can say is that you are worried about someone in line behind me!! Guess what!!!! I've been here for two days and was just in line also over a hour waiting just to be told my info wasn't saved!!! So i pull off and go inside... At this point I'm at my breaking point!! Once i get in the store i explain to the lady what was going on, and i knew the voice of the lady i spoke with was the same lady from the previous night. I ask the lady at the counter for the other ladies name and pointed at her, she stated she couldnt give me her name!!!! But i informed her that i was just told i need to come inside because the information I provided to her earlier wasn't saved!!! She tells me "I did save it, Who told you that!!", the lady working the window, Duh!!! Fast forward, im being told the same stuff about insurance not active and the Pharmacist comes and says well maybe the Dr. you had the appointment with doesn't accept your insurance!! Whatt!!! how, dumb does that sound??? We would have been selfpay if the doctor didn't accept the insurance and i've had scripts filled from this same provider before!!! So i get on the phone with the insurance company while im still there.... And was even told it must be something going on with their system was given a number for them to call and be able to speak to someone and to verify benefits!!! Once i give them the information!! He comes back and tells me he called the number and they said the same thing!!! So i tried to call the number and automative system states they were closed already since 5:15!!! Which meant he didnt speak to anyone he lied!!! It was well passed that time when i gave him that second number to call!!! Then after he clearly came and lied in my face i see him and one of the other workers laughing and peeping over the computer screen taunting me!! I guess they could care less about this back and forth situation i was experiencing, since it wasnt their child just fighting for his life!!! So after being in there 2 1/2 hours and nothing being resolved and people laughing!! My husband advised me it was best to just leave and find a new pharmacy!!"
"The worst pharmacy ever! It’s been 3 months since I made the mistake of transferring my prescription over to this location from another pharmacy since it was cheaper at the time at Walgreens. I still haven’t received it and they kept saying it was never transferred over when the other pharmacy has documented proof of when and to who it was transferred to. Somehow they finally magically found my prescription and by then the price had gone up and I’m now trying to transfer it to Randall’s pharmacy and they called them and they were told there are no refills remaining on the medication so they can’t transfer. I just called Walgreens and I was told that there are refills and they don’t know what Randall’s is talking about. I’ve been going in circles for 3 months and still don’t have my prescription and I will never come back to this location again once I receive my medication somehow."
"I called Walgreens on Shadow Creek Parkway at 9:30 pm. I wanted to make sure they had my son's prescription before I drove over there. As I waited on hold, I decided to drive to the pharmacy. Someone kept picking up the phone (once it rang through) and placing me on hold. I arrived to the drive-thru at 9:45 pm. There was a white SUV in front of me in the line. They were arguing with whomever was at the window about their medication. At this time someone finally answered my call. I told the gentleman that answered that I was currently waiting in line, so it's no need to talk to him now. The argument didn't end, so at 9:55 pm, someone closed the shades. The car in front of me drove off after sitting there for one or two minutes. I got to the window and pressed the call button and no one responded even though you could see that they were still in there. I eventually drove around to the front of the store. An employee in the pharmacy was about to walk out until she saw me at the door. She walked back into the store, so I wouldn't see her. I was kept on hold for over 15 minutes, you all closed before 10:00 pm, and you did not service me (even though I was in line PRIOR to 10:00 pm) because you all were arguing with the customer in front of me. I needed to pick up my son's prescription. You all have the WORST customer service!"
"Sandra didn’t run my insurance properly . Was told by her I need to call my insurance only to find out she was putting the numbers in wrong. Called several times and was over charged for my medication. Was told I had to come back to the store with my receipt. When I did Sandra said I needed to come inside so a manger could fix it. Decided to go back to the drive thru only to be told the manager Gloria couldn’t do it and I needed to come back. She didn’t care and was very matter of fact, even though this started with her mistake. It’s sad the lack of customer care or willingness to get things right for your customers. Stay away from this place"
"I scheduled our appointments for our booster shots, but I might as well not have bothered. They didn’t have any record of our information or the consent form we had filled out online. It took them an entire hour to be able to enter in our info and give us our shots. Then the manager was screaming across the store at the pharmacy techs about how they can’t do the schedule right. You could tell they were overwhelmed and trying their best to keep up. They remained professional for the customers even though the manager was rude. We’re definitely not returning to this Walgreens."
