"Hidden park, very quiet. Lucky people live around this beautiful park. Open, spread out with walking trails, picnic benches, grill, restrooms and a small sheltered place where a bigger party can be held. It also has a basketball court, a very small children play area. Dogs allowed on leash, so a nice place to keep visiting often."
"The playground is great for make-believe and imaginative play. Lots of faux “natural" gym toys (like balancing logs, a slide built onto a hill, and rock formations) . There are basketball courts, a lake with a walking/cycling trail, bike racks, a dock to explore, a net jungle gym, and lots of hills with soft grass if you don't want to sit at any of the many tables and benches scattered about. My kids played hide and seek with pretty wide boundaries and I was able to view everything from the hilltop where I was sitting, so I didn't get anxious about them being out of sight."
"Nice mix of nature and facilities. It was a windy day, so it was rather quiet. There's odd pieces of forgotten clothing dotting around the park, which is also accompanied by people trash, such as empty pizza boxes. A basketball court near the parking lot, at the entrance, was lively. People walked in pairs or with their dogs. Nice atmosphere. Wish there was more elements for kids to climb/interact with. Worth a visit."
"We enjoyed our first time being there, the trail around the lake is a mile long, however you need to go early or late in the day, otherwise it will be very hot, the trail doesn't have much covered. Other than that I will be coming back, seems like a nice place to ride a bike as well."
"I came here because I read on Google local that this was a good place to watch the sunset. I'm glad I did! I had the dock all to myself to watch the sunset on the lake. Some fish came to the surface to check me out, or they were little water snake heads-- I don't know! It was very calm and peaceful. I heard some people taking some exercise walks/runs along the path, which made me feel better about this park's safety. There were also some kids playing basketball at the court. There are 5 or so picnic tables with their own built-in grills. I loved how much open grassy field there was. There was plenty of breathing room to enjoy some nature. The sunset was beautiful. There are also some playgrounds and restrooms although I didn't try either of them."
