"Please DO NOT use Betty Swimming Pool. Like the other 20 folks, we have a useless hole in the backyard. We signed our contract on 8/4/19. We were were to have a pool, outdoor kitchen and a bar in 2 1/2 months. Almost 10 months later and they quit returning calls. They made promise after promise and this is what we got. Don’t believe any of the good reviews, they are not real people. I believed him when he told me some of the reviews on here were bogus. I was wrong. These people will take your money and not finish the job. I highly advise you look for someone else to do your pool. My kids have been waiting patiently and now they are sad that they will not have the pool they wanted. It’s really sad that there are people like this out there that will steal your money and could care less. Feel free to contact me on FB if you have any questions."

"Hi, I am writing a second review because we tried to be kind with the first review. We really do have a pool built by George and its "pretty good." But if I could go back in time and choose another pool builder I completely would, but I can't- I can only warn you. We went with this company because of its reviews- I shop by reviews and you can read all of my google past reviews. Feel free to check out my google profile or Facebook me like Janine Jackson did with her pursuit of a lawsuit against this company. 1) Warning flag 1: Read the 5 star google reviews. They either have no other reviews or are written in another language. 2) Warning flag 2: There is no personal information on his website so you can not check out his insurance or licenses. The pictures of completed pools appear to be stock photos. Don't hesitate to ask to see one of them in person. 3) Warning flag 3: The pool maintenance companies we have contacted have all said "oh you had a pool built by Betty Pools.. yikes" We encourage you to call maintenance companies and ask if they have ever seen work done by these guys. Now about what he said in retort to my first review: he got paid a deposit in October to start in November. As of December 15th he had 95% of his money. He said he would pull the permit in October and start in November. If he had to work extremely fast it was only because we were SOOOOO tired of hearing the word "Tomorrow" so we finally said we were going to call his suppliers directly and we would post a bad review.... then stuff started getting done. Hmmm.... interesting. I will be honest we have not paid him the last 5% because we told him we would be happy to pay him the last 5% once the pool past city inspection. We have a failed plumbing inspection, a failed electrical inspection, a leak in our pool, we are paying another company to try and piece together the autofill electrical. To fix all the things we had to fix- we have paid well over the 5% we owe him. A pool is a huge investment. Please research the company properly- I wish we would have. Marsha"

"I have a hole in the ground that holds water... That is the best part of this entire process. The cool deck texture was done so poorly that it looks like my 4 yr old did it. The skimmers were painted and sealed over and the decorative stone coping was covered with texture as well. My house still has stains from plaster on it. My fence wasn't reinstalled the way that it was done by my builder just 4 months ago. The fence gates wouldn't latch and broken pickets from fence removal were hung and passed off as good enough. The sprinklers in my front yard are still broken from 4 months ago when they originally broke them. I have had two different maintenance companies inspect the pool plumbing and they mentioned it didn't meet local code. George was great at answering the phone throughout but unfortunately a realistic timeline was never provided nor was his install schedule even remotely close to what he explained it would take to have a finished product at the onset of the job. Know that you should never give this company more than 5k at a time or run the risk of losing a ton if you are his very last customer. Double check the good google reviews because they are shockingly high when compared to an experience that I suspect many have had with this company. I hate providing reviews like this but I feel it necessary to warn others and hope they don't make the same mistake I did by choosing Betty Swimming Pools."

"Betty Swimming Pools was the best choice ever! Richard , an Austin area sales manager with Betty, created a masterpiece. Six months after buying our “dream home”, a home that desperately needed a pool, we started our search for the right pool contractor. Wow…what a shock. I don’t exaggerate when I tell you that five different pool contractors looked at the difficult location where we wanted the pool, promised drawings and bids, and then…nothing….seriously…nothing. No call backs, multiple cancelled appointments…it was nuts. No one wanted to build our pool! I finally got one bid from a company that was $40,000 more than Betty bid. We went with Betty Swimming Pools and Jorge, whose construction superintendent was beyond extraordinary! Three months after they broke ground we were swimming in a work of art that demands praise from all who see it. Jorge, Richard and Betty Swimming Pools built a dream pool for us. We could not have been happier. Despite numerous design changes as the project progressed, the final cost was exactly the amount that was bid…they didn’t add a dime! They built a trophy pool, on budget and on time! Good luck matching that anywhere else! Betty Swimming Pools gets 5 stars from us!"

"We had a great experience with Betty Swimming Pool. We have an extremely small back yard that has easements and many contractors would not take on the project. When George from Betty Swimming Pool came to our house his vision transformed our backyard beyond anything I could have even hoped for. We got everything we asked for from a hot tub to bar stools in the pool despite the size challenges. The team building the pool did so during very challenging weather. They were hard working and polite. We no longer need to go to hotels to enjoy an oasis! Thank you Betty Swimming Pool. George You’re a genius!"
