"Wish I could give zero stars. Terrible company. Had me sign up for autopay, I got the confirmation email that I was registered. Then they cancel the autopay the very next month without telling me (no email saying it is deactivated). Then cancelled the email communication that I had set up for my bills so I never received an email saying that I was late on my bill (why would I expect that since I have autopay set up right?). Then they shut off my water and charge $75 to turn it back on... I imagine they did this for A LOT of customers at the same time in order to boost their revenues. Should be illegal."
"This company doesn't even deserve a zero star. I've been following up with them about my final bill from Nov'23. They have my deposit $100 and I was told that the final bill would be deducted from that. I got a call in the last week of Jan'24 stating that I needed to pay the bill. When I called them up, I was told that their supervisor would give me call and I would be getting a refund from Jonah. There has been no response since then."
"All 1-star reviews... Imagine that. I'll go ahead and mine to the list. These people are ridiculous to say the least. We're new customers, just bought a new home in their service area, and they cut off our water during the transition from the new owners to us. And won't give us a date for turning it back on. Threatening to sue us if we turn is back on during the transition. Asking for a warranty deed form the builder on a home that was built in 2017 and lived in by two other families prior to us. Seriously?! Absolutely the worst customer service from any utility company I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Good looking out Jonah Water.... Sheesh. Congratulations on being the worst water company around."
"Worst. Water. Company. Ever. I'm not sure how they are okay doing business the way that they do. If you're thinking about moving to a house that uses this utility company, Run! Overcharge for water that is horrible quality. There's always weird looking stuff in the water. On top of all that, the customer service is horrific. I can't wait to move"
"Really they deserve a 0 star rating. Received a final, and apparently only, notice in the mail that a bill was due. Thought it was weird since I have auto pay hooked up and email reminders sent if the payment doesn’t go through. Logged in to pay it and my auto pay wasn’t hooked up any more. Plus they added a nice late fee on top of not even sending an email reminder. So avoid if at all possible until they get their issues sorted out. But reading through all the other reviews makes that outcome seem bleak. And sadly they’re the only water company that services our area. Here’s a bonus fun fact, for free! Jonah water sent out a notice that the fluoride content in their water is higher than the what’s safe for kids under 9 years old. So how about they increase the quality of their water filtration instead of sending our bogus “final” notices and late fees."
