"One of my favorite trails for running and walking. This trail connects to Whalon Lake in Bolingbrook in one direction and keeps going through Naperville as the DuPage River trail in the other direction. It's beautiful- there is a small pond with a tiny bridge with a gorgeous view of the river. This is the place to get a run in during the snowy months bc the park district clears the blacktop trail (as best they can)! For this, I am so grateful. I had the most enjoyable run of my life this winter on the packed snow trial. Just me, my yak tracks and the snow. It was beautiful. Nice weekends in the spring, summer and fall can get very crowded so plan accordingly."
