Reviews of Paradise Pet Salon & Spa Too! Inc
"Martha did amazing with my puppy Hailey! It was Hailey’s first time at a pet salon and getting her nails trimmed, and she tends to gets nervous and was in heat. Thanks Martha!"
"I can't tell you how highly I regard Marta who is the owner and all of her staff. Honestly they help me manage a dog that I rescued from pause and love with all my heart but who is a very ill-tempered puppy you have to walk him in privately he can't be around other dogs he can be very moody he doesn't bite but he's ornery and hard to handle and they take it all in stride and give me the best haircut for that my puppy they pay attention to things when I ask them you know could you take care of his eyes be sure to be careful around his stomach he just had surgery so watch this place under his chin you know that sort of thing they are diligent about they're all so diligent about calling you back when they're ready they wait for you if you've gotten into a mess and I do tip them well because they deserve it I tip them so well I probably should get the dog groomed more often instead of waiting so long"
"I’ve taken my dog here for over a year just for a simple nail trim. I know my dog has long quicks, which is why I always tell whoever is trimming to just do the tips. I had noticed for months my dog has been dreading coming here, but what dog likes getting their nails cut? Each time, I’ve looked at his nails after they’ve been cut, and it’s very inconsistent—sometimes short, sometimes long, and I never said anything and have always been pleasant with the staff. Today, was a completely different story, an absolute nightmare. I dropped him off, and when I came back 5 minutes later, I looked through the window where he was being trimmed and my dog is whimpering, crying, while being muzzled. My dog has never even remotely tried to bite anyone in 4 years. He was really struggling and you could see my dog was clearly in pain and terrified. When he was done and brought back to me, his nails were so short, exposed quicks, red and bleeding. When I examined him, all I said was “I know he has long quicks, and I don’t mind if his nails are long” — he just needs a trim (other places I’ve brought him to have never had any issue with him). The response I get from the woman who has cut his nails for a year, is that I came in with tension and she could feel it (through glass and a partition wall) which is why she got stressed. If you came in and saw your dog tied up, gagged, crying, and bleeding — would you have a happy demeanor. She then told me she did the best she could, but it was my energy she could feel that caused this and that my dog tried to bite her and 10 other excuses. Really?! It’s your job to listen to you clients and try to make a situation that’s already stressful for dogs less nervous. But it was my fault that she couldn’t trim his nails? Makes no sense. Be accountable! And from the looks of it, more recent 1 star reviews for this place. And each time, someone has valid negative reviews, these people respond with no accountability and blame the dog or owner. Can’t wait to see what she writes about me. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON’T COME HERE unless you want your pet to have a panic attack and then be blamed for the groomer’s ineptness."
"My occasionally nervous dog never has a problem going here and is always happy to go right to Marta, so that's already a big plus. She really always does a great job even with my mutt's somewhat complicated coat. I used to take my dog here even when it was quite a drive because I was sick of going to other places that gave poor quality results and that my dog was wary of. Her coat is always crazy soft when I pick her up and she smells good for a long time afterwards."
"Paradise always does a great job with our doodle Beau and they always try their best to squeeze him in … updated as we dropped our doodle off one day and called back four hours later to see if he was done and they had not even started. I understand she was sick, but she should have communicated that so we could have rescheduled and not had our dog sit there all day and not get groomed"
