"Very well kept on the boardwalks and on the scenery tower. Plenty of hiking trails. Parking is limited to the lot across the street, but there is a pedestrian crossing to get there. Very beautiful views."
"This was our second visit. We came to see the late summer wildflowers. We were not disappointed. The boardwalk and path were easy to walk on and well maintained. The flowers were beautiful."
"This is a fun little trail system tucked away in Lake Geneva. The trails can become narrow at points, but in general they were a good width for a family group. There is parking available in the lot across the street and you’ll need to use a crosswalk to get to the entrance. I hiked quietly and was able to see several deer and a good number of birds. There’s also an observation tower but since it looks out over a field of tall grass there isn’t much to see from there. Overall a good hike!"
"Lots of different places to park and enter the nature preserve. Has everything, shade and sun, grass and gravel, butterflies and bunnies. Dogs are welcome if leashed. There's even a creek fishing spot for the kids, although the path to it isn't very well marked."
"This is a beautiful place to walk around. I can imagine that it looks completely different during each season. During our trip this summer, there were a ton of butterflies and some pretty flowers. I'd love to return during Autumn when the leaves are changing! If you visit and if you are able, I would recommend dropping a buck or two in the ammo can located on the right side of the sign at the Entrance/exit for the volunteers that work so hard at maintaining the property. I walk pretty fast and it took about an hour to navigate the loop. I think it was about 2.5 miles or more? I may not have completed the whole route though. I'll be back either way!"
