"We have a grandchild and a few kids and they've always had fun. Good place for birthday parties"
"I took my grandson and his mom to Godfrey Park and they had a blast. There's a splash pad with lots of different ways to get soaked, the grandson liked the water cannons the best. There's also a large jungle gym, rock climbing wall, treehouse, several slides and a long swing set. The pavilion is perfect for a Birthday party. This is one nice little gem of a park hidden away in South Jacksonville. If you get the chance drop by, I'm sure you'll be glad you did."
"Great for the little ones. Lots of room to run."
"This is a fabulous community park, with a surrounding fence. I LOVE that the park is gated. There are two playground units - one for little and one for bigger kids. The recycled tire surface around the playground provides a soft landing for when the kids trip. There's also a splash pad, available after 12:30 p.m. each summer day. However, the water must be activated, and doesn't always turn on."
"Usually love this place. Went today with my 9 month old for the first time. No water. When we called about it we were told it is closed on Thursdays. There was no sign posted with hours. I asked about a sign and was told there use to be one. I also told them their hours were wrong on the website. The lady said she would look into it. We were there for about 30 minutes and during that time at least 4-5 families showed up looking to play in the water. All were disappointed."
