Not a service you plan to need but know they are there for you if you do. Grateful for the support and love, was hard to leave Frank there but we knew he was in loving hands. "I’ll be honest with everyone this place is fantastic. Dr Dawnetta is an angel in humans clothing if you want my opinion. I grew up on a small farm and we have had a lot of dogs be put down over the years but I had a rescue bully that I loved named Ellie. She had cancer and we didn’t find out until it was extremely advanced and was causing issues. She went downhill fast and we needed to help her not be in pain anymore. She was struggling on a Saturday and we knew it was time, no where was really open and I wanted the best for my girl. Dr dawnetta gave me and my family that. She treated me and my family and my other dog Jake I brought like her own. Let us spend as much time with Ellie as we needed. I recommend this facility for any animal that is needing to be put down. If I could rate it over 5 stars I would. Even after she went we were allowed to spend as much time as we needed. Thank you for who you are and what you do. And the kind card after. And all the kind words."

"I've had several pets cross the rainbow bridge but never so peacefully. Khandan has been with our family for all of her 15 years, and when her time came there was plenty of room at Pets of Rest for her whole family to be there with her, including our other dog. She had a cozy bed, lots of scratches and snacks, calm music, and so much love and honor."

"Dr. Dawnetta is one of the kindest people I have ever met. Sadly, my family had to make the hard decision about helping our dog, Jack, pass on in order to take away his pain. It was incredibly difficult, and there were moments that we wondered if we were doing the right thing. Dr. Dawnetta put our minds at ease that it was time and he wouldn't be in pain anymore. She reminded us that what we were doing for him was loving even though it hurt our hearts. She gave us time alone with him to say our goodbyes even though nothing could ever really prepare us for that moment. She was incredibly kind and compassionate towards my whole family, including Jack. She made sure he wasn't in pain and was comfortable. She was the best person that I could've asked for at that moment. She also gives amazing hugs, which was exactly what I needed that day. If anyone needs to let their pet have peace from pain, I would 100% recommend Dr. Dawnetta and Pets at Rest Hospice."
