"Update (1/19/2024): I tried to let this sleeping dog lie, but Regal Pools' response has forced my hand. Any reasonable person who looks at this brief review (as well as my others), its photographs, and for those who can find it, my report, will conclude that Regal Pools did an abysmal job in many aspects of building and maintaining our pool. What's far worse, is that they put us through serious pain getting them to fulfill their warranty obligations. There's also much more that I've never even shared. My goodness, how can people who behave like this say they went above and beyond, followed by "God bless"? Rating dropped to 1-star. This review is now finalized. We hired Regal Pools in September 2018 to build us a luxuriously equipped pool, outdoor kitchen, and outdoor bathroom, and they did many things well. Unfortunately, however, we also experienced many serious challenges during every phase of the project: design, construction, usage, and maintenance. Below is a brief, reverse chronological summary of recent highlights. 4/11/23: Regal Pools replaced our jumping rock. I've tested its promised weight capacity (500 lb at its tip), smoothness, and its water features; it passed all tests. Consolingly, for the first time in four years, when standing upon and jumping from it, I am satisfied with its safety. Mr. Escobar masterfully operated the Kubota, not damaging our sidewalk this time, our precious apple tree sprouted from seed by our daughter during COVID lockdown, or anything else beyond the unavoidable. When I told my wife that Regal Pools actually did a good job this time she said, “they actually cared this time”. Unfortunately, however, we were told the jumping rock cement would be brown like the moss rock itself, but upon curing, it turned gray. While disappointing, we won’t complain further because jumping rock replacement was always about child safety, not aesthetics. 2/22/23: Regal Pools repaired/sealed the primary equipment pad they built for us, which was disintegrating before their "three-year warranty" term. It is now satisfactory. When I checked their work, I found multiple issues: my UV/ozone unit was detached from its wall mount, its UV bulb broke, one pump’s discharge piping leaked, and grounding wiring was unattached. Regal Pools fixed all damage. 11/22/22: Regal Pools replumbed our chiller so that it was not damaged during either of the deep freezes we experienced this winter. Mr. Escobar had the good idea of replumbing it so that its feedwater comes from our in-floor cleaning system pump. 10/26/22: The A&A in-floor cleaning system representative came out and adjusted it. While here, he said that in rectangular pools the system's performance is typically flawless, which is what we were promised by Regal Pools during design, and thus was our expectation. Our pool is freeform, however, and our in-floor system's performance is still not as advertised; but it has improved to the point where it doesn't give us as much heartburn. 9/20/22: Regal Pools has agreed, in writing, to honor our warranty claims (all of which were submitted within our "extended 3-year warranty" term, but which they initially denied in January and April of 2022), as well as to improve the performance of our deficient in-floor cleaning system to the best of their ability. 8/1/22: Regal Pools has informed us that they may be able to repair all our “extended 3-year warranty” claims and they’ve requested a meeting with us."

"Regal Pools really helped us bring our dream pool to life. The final product is exactly as depicted in the rendering tailored for us. Regal Pools takes pride in the quality of work delivered and they were very supportive in making minor "in the field" tweaks necessary to achieve our vision. The entire team has been great to work with and we'd strongly recommend their company if you're considering a new pool!"

"After getting offers from three vendors, we decided to continue with Regal Pools, not because of price but because of recommendations from other RP customers. Jesus is an excellent sales manager to address all your questions and give you good advise. He is a real mind reader. He catches exactly what you want to find a solution. He was with me during the entire process even his work technically only sales and coordination. Dustin the Project Manager is excellent person and addressed all of our concerns and questions with patience. Even after the job has been completed, he visited me to say hi and if I have any concerns. Even small (not in the contract) works he fulfilled just to make us fully satisfied with the pool. They did a great job and now the most attractive part of our house is the pool. See the images I uploaded. It’s a great investment too. I already recommended Regal Pools to other people and I think they are going to work with Regal Pools. Hey, by the way, their pool service is also great. Another reason to be lazy enough to enjoy our pool rather than working on cleaning and chemical testing etc. Honestly speaking, I delayed writing this review to see if there will be any issue with the pool before I give 5 star. So this is a 2-month delayed review but quite realistic."

"Regal pools is to my opinion the best pool builder in Houston. They take you through the whole process from your first meeting, they treat you like your pool is the only pool they are building making you feel important. During the design, they are super patient with you and make all the changes graciously and without hesitation, I requested 4 more bids and every time I wanted a change I would get attitude from them… with Regal Pools that was not the case. I also liked the fact that they gave me the confidence that they would look out for my interests with HOA and etc. Before, during and after, they documented everything of how the pool was built, I’ve owned 2 houses with pool in the past and there’s never trace of any documentation, not with Regal, they keep everything tidy and communicate with you all the time. We were so lucky to have Brett as our Pool designer and Dustin as our Project Manager; the customer service provided by them is unparalleled. Dustin was great, he will come and inspect the construction very often and send the different crews for the last details, and if I asked something no matter what, the attitude was always positive and a “can do”. I am extremely pleased with my pool and working with Regal, I would recommend them 100%. They are transparent, and strive for excellence on everything they do."
