"STOP! Don't bother with these people. Take the time to find what you need anywhere else. TRULY it is worth a few extra $ to save yourself a massive headache. The customer service is horrible, return policy horrible, product come damaged, wrong size, wrong gauge, wrong material, and they will blame you for their mistakes!"
"ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE!!! DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! I purchased a Gem Light Box Pro (a very expensive machine) from them a few months ago. A very small plastic part broke and I reached out to them to purchase another one. I called, emailed, and live chatted them for a month and a half and never got an answer. They'd say they'd call back and would never return my calls and they wouldn't return emails. Sonia in particular was extremely rude and hung up on me after putting me on hold for 15 minutes. I called Pic Up Media (who I didn't purchase the machine from) and they replaced my part in MINUTES! DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!"
"Got my order today. The 24 gauge bezel wire quality has consistently been going down for some time, but it hit a new low today! It was stiff and the edges were rough and sharp. The way is is rolled is just like a coiled spring slinky. Been buying from them for 16 years, but am just about done!"
"Strictly an online customer. Never had any difficulty with Rio Grande. They ship fast enough, items are well packaged. Prices kind of depends on what you're buying, you can get some pretty good deals at times. Selection depends on what you're looking for as well. But they beat most of the larger lapidary places hands down."
"Fraud and the worst service. I made a purchase for the first time, ordered a 14ga (0.064") sterling silver sheet. The sheet I got was only 0.05" thick which corresponds to 17ga. When I wrote to solve the problem, manager said that "they checked their sheets" although I sent them a photo proof, and advised me to go to another shop. Good advice, Rio Grande, never again! I can't believe such a reputable company provides such bad service."
