"Update 1/18/24: After the service visit with Al, our furnace still wasn't getting up to full temperature the next morning (set to 73 but only got up to 67 degrees). I called Official the next morning and spoke with Alejandra the office manager who listened to my feedback, spoke with the GM, and offered to make things right. She agreed to send out a different tech, Darryl, who came that same afternoon to check our furnace again and perform the maintenance and cleaning. I did insist that they gave us a discount due to our poor experience with the previous tech's attitude and for not diagnosing our furnace properly the FIRST time. Darryl was polite and noticed that there was a wire connecting the furnace that was hanging loose and he immediately fixed it. I am not sure why the first tech, Al, didn't spot that himself. Our furnace is only 3 years old, and this issue seemed kind of odd, but he fixed it and did the furnace cleaning. That was yesterday. This afternoon, I saw the reply from the business owner (Kenny) who claims we are playing games and trying to take advantage of his company. No way. We had been a customer with Official Heating & Cooling for 10+ years... we've purchased two new furnaces, two new water heaters, and had yearly maintenance performed by this company. We've spend $15K+ with Official over the years and the owner really thinks we're trying to "game" them over a couple of hundred bucks? Wow. We never had a problem with anyone from Official until this week and we called them out for their own mistake. Now the owner at Official is saying he is going to discontinue our account. When I spoke with Alejandra she asked me to update this google review and I told her I would be happy to do so. Well, this is my updated review... and it still says at 1-Star. Original Review: I was a long time customer of Official, but not anymore. We had an appointment at 2pm to check our furnace due to lack of heat. Alejandro was the technician and was nasty. He was four hours late and charged us $166 just to change the filter (which we provided). He also refused to do a furnace cleaning because it was after hours and couldn't take an extra 30 minutes to do the job. Nevermind that he was at our home after hours because HE was 4 hours late. Terrible attitude, ripoff and will never use this company again!"

"Had my annual furnace maintenance. Hired this company to install a new furnace systems some years back. Every year I call to have their techs out to make sure everything is operating smoothly. This year, tech Darryl, completed the maintenance. Extremely happy with all aspects from his communication to the efficiency of his work. Easy to talk to and explained everything professionally. "From the moment I started thinking about replacing my units, which is a stressful and high dollar commitment, Bill was so helpful every step of the way. I explained my situation around possibly moving soon but that I knew I needed new HVAC one way or another, whether it be now or a demand from buyers if we were going to sell. I was, in the beginning, looking for more of a budget friendly unit, and after receiving a few other quotes from other businesses, Bill not only beat all estimates, he was able to get me into a way better product which also happened to be a heat pump unit, that was more energy efficient, and with rebates and tax credits, was competitive with the more budget friendly quotes! An unreal deal, so thank you Bill. From there, I was worried about my old duct work, leaking valuable air and just not being efficient, to which Bill had another solve...enter David. David was at my doorstep introducing himself and explaining the process of not only cleaning and sanitizing my ducts, but also completing an aero-seal process. He was able to seal all the gaps, joints, elbows, tiny holes, etc in my ducts, almost completely. There was an immediate difference in how my house heated - quicker, more efficient and more balanced. He was professional, knowledgeable and clean. That led to the next team for the install. I cannot thank these guys enough - they removed my 20+ year old unit and got to work on installing the (properly) sized Armstrong Air Pro Series heat pump unit and furnace. I still don't really know how this things works but it's absolutely awesome. It's quiet, and I mean quiet, and it heats my house perfectly. Living in a 4 level home, it's hard to balance, but between the clean and sealed ducts and this new unit, my home is more comfortable all around...and way less dusty. Sean, Ryan and Jason had a task ahead of them - getting those ancient beasts removed and installing the new units did not seem like it was going to be a walk in the park, but they nailed it perfectly. These guys were not only professional, but friendly and courteous. I assumed I was going to have a mess in my utility room when they were done, but nope, they were very clean throughout the entire process. These guys not only didn't mind all my questions, which I had a lot, they had all the answers every time. Once everything was completed, they walked me through system operations and got me set up with the new smart thermostat and mobile app. To the former businesses I used for all my HVAC needs, thank you, but because of Bill, Jason, Ryan and Sean, Official Heating and Cooling has more than earned my loyalty going forward!"

"Everyone from Bill the salesman, to Marcus, Ryan and Steven the installation guys were top notch. They worked with me on pricing/payments, explained everything they were doing, answered all my questions, and left the place clean and spotless. My AC went out and they were able to install the next day after they quoted me before we got 80-90 degree weather. I would highly recommend Offical heating and cooling!"
