"My luggage was stolen in one of the properties managed by this fraudulent company. Be warned, they don’t make themselves accountable for anything that happens on their properties."
"During the day someone broke into our Airbnb on Corinth street shortly after we left to a music festival in the area. The person entered the Airbnb using the digital padlock door with the combination. The walls at this Airbnb location are paper then and this individual must have heard me tell my fiancé the code. This Airbnb host boasts of security measures in their description but our entire stay the front gate was wide open for cars to drive through and the front and back doors into the apartment complex were open the entire time for anyone to walk off the street. This location is incredibly unsafe due to security measures and the fact that anyone in the next door apartments can hear any word you have to say. The property and surrounding area is also surrounded in garbage. When I called the Airbnb I got a receptionist who could not help me at all and basically just said oh wow that’s terrible and I asked to talk to a manager. No one at all tried calling me after I said someone broke into their apartment. They weren’t even concerned in the slightest about their own property in the unit? The crew worker who came to change the lock didn’t even do it until 5 o clock the next day because they called me thinking I was still in there. There was zero hustle or interest at all to resolve this and it’s clear as day. We tried to file a police report but after waiting nearly 3 and a half hours for a officer to come we called the 911 line and they said they could give us a time in morning but obviously that would not work since someone had the combination to get into the unit and we feared for our safety so we abandoned the apartment."
"Our neighbors use this "service" and let's just say no one surrounding them are happy. We have tried reaching out to the neighbors, but this "service" says they have contacted them and handled the matters. This is not true. Lawn is never mowed, mail is always falling out of the mailbox, trash sitting on the front patio. Some of the neighbors left letters for the property managers and found them thrown to side of the house. Would not recommend their "service"."
"If you want your house managed as a "passive investment" for short-term rentals, where the management company is also passive and does the bare minimum to maintain your property, then this is the right company for you. If you want many lost, stolen, or broken items in your home without any notification that it happens or holding guests accountable for these issues, then Square House can neglect your household items too. If you want to be welcomed back to your own home with no sheets, towels, or even the comforter on the master bed (where did it all go?) because they don't bother checking that they're still in the house (answer: should be because we didn't touch them), then they can give that level of neglect too. If you want multiple 1 star reviews for your home by disgruntled guests complaining about cleanliness issues, lack of basic support, and rude customer service, then Square House can make that happen for your home. If you want a bathroom left completely trashed and a cleaning crew sent after midnight to try to enter your home while you're sleeping without proper prior coordination, then Heath can provide you that personal lack of care (or is it harassment?) and lack of attention to details directly to you as a homeowner. If only some of the guests received that kind of response when they needed it instead of the neglect the guests documented in their public reviews. If only I had picked a better company, then I wouldn't have to write this experience here as a warning to others. Keep a close eye on your property and its contents between guests, and maybe this company can work for you. They aren't anywhere near "full service" as they claim to entirely entrust your home to them. Most issues are addressed by trying to ignore them or saying it's not their problem to resolve if you're the homeowner or the guest."
"Beware - Heath is dishonest and unprofessional. He refuses to honor a refund he promised. It wasn’t like we were unhappy with the location or how comfortable the bed was. You couldn’t provide basic utilities. No lights, no hot water, no lock on the door and several other issues you and your team are aware of. I understand you are not apart of the Airbnb conversations that we have with Customer Service, but they tell us not to cancel and that the host needs to cancel. If we cancel it says we will lose ALL of the money we paid. We would really appreciate a full refund. Also I understand you have several properties, but looking back at your reviews these are issues that are consistently happening. I suggest you having these issues repaired to avoid these refund requests in the future."
