"As I’m reviewing the ratings for FVAWL almost all of them are excellent (which I agree with) but I’m going to throw my 2 cents worth in on some of the recent bad ones…..So your upset because no immediate pick up or return call? Try being a VOLUNTEER (just in case you don’t understand that it’s means NO PAY) that gets 100’s of calls a day. Please for EVERYONE who complained about this…..Call your local vet, they will answer and schedule you an immediate appointment. Then you can complain how much they charge. Another one….had multiple appointments and cancelled???? Really?? and then got upset no deposit was returned. Regardless of health issues. Sounds like they accommodated you. They schedule accordingly and once cancelled appointment ok….not multiple times. I’ve been using this clinic for over 10 years both with my rescue and my own personal animals. Their staff has ALWAYS been more then accommodating and professional. I’d give more then 5 stars if I could just because without them the rescue could not afford some of the procedures done there at other places. They’ve seriously saved our rescue 1,000’s of dollars. Let me remind anyone reading this. ITS AN ALL VOLUNTEER CLINIC. They don’t get paid. I wonder how many people would do this and put up with such negative and harshness as I’ve read from those that have. Simply put, they do the best they can. And if it’s not good enough for some, then please call your private vets and pay their prices. I love this place, and thank each and everyone of them for the wonderful jobs they do out of the goodness of their hearts."
"I’ve looked at some of the reviews for this place and seen that there were some good and some bad so i decided i’d give it a chance but instead, I was met with an awful experience. I had an appointment there and missed it due to health related issues. I then scheduled another appointment but couldn’t make that one for the same reason so I called to cancel a week beforehand, like I was told to do so in order to receive my deposit. When i did, i was expecting my deposit of $25 back like I was told I would have and the lady I was talking to even made it seem like it was guaranteed but I did not get it back like she had said. In other words, she refused to give me my money back. Afterwards, I asked if I could speak to the doctor and she said, “No, the doctor would have nothing to say to you.” She then followed that with saying that he’d 100% agree with her decision and that I am no longer allowed to make an appointment. She also claimed to be the owner to reinforce the fact that I am unable to schedule anything since she had said not to. There was no relevant reason as to why I was suddenly “banned” from making an appointment, so I am informing you about your receptionists’ disturbing behavior. She is an incredibly rude, racist, and disrespectful woman especially for one that’s working as a receptionist, where she is talking to your customers. I was nothing but kind to her because maybe she needed it, and from my perspective, she really does. Please check in with said receptionist and do something about her behavior because that is NOT okay and I wouldn’t want her to meet the wrong person."
"Very nice people and efficiently run. If I need to leave a message that return my call quickly. We are asked to wait in our cars until the the vet is ready to see which I find helpful because my dog is very friendly but has a lot of energy. And especially the the inexpensive! It was going to cost $182 at my vet to get a 3 years rabies tag and here it cost me $82 including a 6-month supply of heartworm meds. You do need to plan ahead because the clinics, I believe, I run once a month. I highly recommend!"
"Got my Cat Neutered here and everything went good. The receptionists were very kind and knowledgeable. The prices are very reasonable, my cat is doing fine after surgery. Thank you"
"The administrator was very nice and got me checked in quick. My kitty Twinkie was very upset and confused after her spay but the doctor knew exactly how to calm her. They provided pain medicine and post op instructions. Twinkies recovery has been smooth"
