"I wasn't going to leave a review.... After I left my heart of 12 years in the care of a stranger's arms, handed through the window of my car to be euthanized without me there to hold her, because it was spring of the pandemic and no one was allowed inside. I was assured by the vet tech that they would do the procedure immediately and that no, she would not be put into a kennel for hours alone and afraid. Then 4 hours later I received a call from the female veterinarian there at that time talking about all of her symptoms and seemingly looking for assurance that this was indeed what I wanted done for my pet. Mind you I had been bawling my eyes out for hours thinking her already gone. I asked said doctor, why are you asking me this, I was assured she would be looked after first thing once I handed her off....she quickly backtracked and said that indeed it was already done. I felt sick to my stomach, but there was nothing I could do, I had to let that one go. I didn't leave a review.... Two years later when the pandemic had loosened it's strangle hold and I called to get an appointment for my two older dogs to come in and get their 3 year rabies. I was a few months late, but it was time to get back on track. I was then fired over the phone because I had not been in with either dog in 3 years for a wellness check. Pandemic be damned (even though we all know it was impossible to get in with a vet for routine appointments.) I did attempt to argue my points...nope, we don't want you here. We need people who come in and spend money regularly. I decided to leave this review.... Because I cannot in good conscience not do so. Today Feb 2024 I received a letter stating that my pet's ashes were there to pick up and if I did not come or call to make arrangements that they would be disposed of. Now, mind you that occurred Spring 2021. I did NOT ask nor pay for said ashes. But for 3 years now my heart has been sitting on their shelf. Shame On YOU Watson Road Veterinary Clinic! I would say do better, but your track record has proven otherwise. Spend your money elsewhere folks, these people don't care."
"My partner brought our dog in for an urgent visit. Our dog was still agitated more than two weeks after treatment from the vet so my partner called back to ask some questions about how to proceed. Front desk told us the vet would call us back but never did. The past week the same issue became an over the top issue and when we called in, the receptionist showed no concern for blood coming out of our animal while telling us to wait 4 days to come in. We called back after hanging up realizing we needed advice on how to keep his wound closed. Today we come in and the first thing I see is a major red flag of an aloe plant on the ground. Aloe is highly poisonous to dogs. This is a Vet’s office. I am confused. Ours dog’s medical chart was incomplete and the medicine administered was not explained. I am disappointed."
"I have been there for years, and all my 7 babies go there for ALL services even when they have a running nose. Over the summer, I took 3 of my babies there for teeth cleaning. When I picked them up, they refused to give me 2 or more discount. I asked, and they told me that there is a new rule: "All babies must be seen by the vet annually for check up in order to get a discount." None was related to me when I dropped my babies off in the A.M. for their appointments. I went through several people work at the front desk to get my discount. I finally asked for the manager. He told me the rule is new and must be enforced. He still refused to give my discount. I then asked to speak to the owner. He said, "it's the new owner," "Vet," and no longer Dr. Z. I asked him to call the owner. He stepped away for a while and came out and told me they would honor my discount. WOW... REALLY??? HMMM..."i was thinking to myself... the THOUSANDS of dollars that I have spent at the Vet, and they are treating me like this." I called and left a voicemail to get one of my babies' prescription refill on Monday. I received a voicemail stating that a letter was sent out along with their records advising us to seek service elsewhere. I have been traveling quite a bit for the last 3 months, so I didn't check my mail thoroughly. My babies have their 3-year rabies shots, n it's not due until 2024, so why do i have to bring them in annually if they are doing great. They get their teeth cleaned yearly as well. WHAT???? REALLY??? What kind of business is that? They decided to change some rules around and DID NOT disclose that to me and expected me to accept whatever they said out of nowhere. I have noticed a few major issues in the servicing industry since COVID. People are up charging everything because they know that our furry babies need the service...etc... I understand the supply and demands situation. Customer service is getting worse in all aspects of the retail industry. Overall, what the Watson Road Veterinary Clinic did was very wrong and money hungry. Businesses like this shouldn't exist."

"If you had more stars we would go higher than five we've been going there for a little over 30 years and we've been going to Jay since he's started I hated to see him just go to Saturdays and we see Jay as often as we can but Dr Zeis is fantastic and handles the good and the bad especially very emotional times when we need him. we love the place they treat our dogs fantastic no matter how sick and deathly sick the saddest time they are there with us we are very very glad we have this place that take our animals we would not take them to no other place and I know they know that because look how many years we have been going there."
