"Do not rent an apartment with KASS MANAGEMENT. They falsely advertise units and then are not accountable for the conditions in which the apartments are delivered. The ad said a “recently renovated unit”, when it clearly has not been touched in the last 40 years. There is mold in the bathroom and the kitchen cabinets are crooked. Forget about appliances like microwave or dishwasher. The electrical outlets do not work. Tile is broken and there are traces of paint everywhere. Packages get stolen. The hallways reek. Management does not take any responsibility for any of the above issues, not even for tricking people into renting units under false pretenses. They also take 3 weeks to respond to emails. Worst customer service ever. This unit is located in the 1430 N Dearborn Pwg Building in Chicago. Do not get a lease there. Avoid at all costs."

"I’ve been renting with them for almost 2 months and have had a lingering foul odor in my bathroom that the maintenance guy still hasn’t even come to check out. I believe it’s something dead in the drain. I also still have not gotten my mailbox key. Contacted my property manager Pam Gore and she hasn’t reached out to me after I Ieft a voicemail. The smell of my apartment literally makes me sick and I don’t want to invite anyone over because it’s embarrassing. No amount of glade plug ins or air freshener truly masks the smell. Radiators are filled with dust and debris, looks like they haven’t been cleaned in years. I like the apartment itself, just the management of it seems very poor so far."

"Terrible. When you move in everything is broken. Maintenance is on vacation and fixes nothing. They want you to waste all your money fixing things that their already supposed to have fixed. Overpriced. Parking spot prices are selfish and overpriced to try and rip you off. It’s not even a covered spot. They try to get as much money out of you as they can. Terrible communication. You can’t reach anyone. You’re on your own. Maintenance terrible. Says their coming and don’t. Only one maintenance guy for several properties. No cameras. Place not very secure. Packages delivered wrong place. Promises not fulfilled. Application process takes way longer than what they tell you. Blinds don’t fit. Invasion of privacy. People can come and check out your apartment by taking a peak through cheap blinds which fall off because of door handle( not properly installed) and were to short to begin with because nobody measured!"
