"Taurus Lake Travis is amazing!!! The puppy boot camp training is also phenomenal!! The doggy day care is the best! They don’t just play with the dogs they reinforce manners and training and even teach them new stuff! Best place for your pups! Also, if you board they have a live person there 24/7!! Such a comforting amenity!"

"We have used Taurus in the past and have been happy. This time, we boarded our dog for 3 weeks. When we picked her up she seemed "off". When we got her home, I took her out to go to the bathroom. She peed 10 times, peed while she was walking, and kept peeing. It was obvious that they were not attending to her basic needs. We travel a lot and board our dog both in Houston and at Taurus in Austin. This has NEVER happened. I can only base my review on our dogs behavior which was awful after this visit."

The staff at this location were really accommodating and able to get my dog in on very short notice! I loved getting the daily picture updates while we were away!"

"Taurus Academy has been such a find for us with our Flatcoated Retriever KiKi! We got her last July as a six month old pup. What a bundle of energy! In addition to that she was scared of everyone & everything! She wouldn't get into the car, so first I had Kelsey, one of their trainers come out & help with that. Then once we cleared that hurdle we started taking her for play dates. The difference in KiKi after a year of going there is phenomenal! She is much less timid, and actually listens to commands. She used to literally leap out of the car when we would go anywhere, & now because of the fantastic folks at Taurus she actually waits for me to grab her leash & get her out! She is much better on walks than she used to be too. I credit them for that, because we do walks there every couple of weeks to keep her on track. She also gets her bath there as well. She is a 75 pound dog, so having them do her bath has been great! We also have boarded her there, & that is such a great feeling to know that the staff loves her & we always have a place for her if we need it! Every single one of the staff has been amazing to KiKi! She goes twice a week now. My husband & I say that KiKi goes to "school" now and has playdates with her favorite dogs! You won't go wrong with Taurus Academy Lake Travis!"
