"Would not recommend this pediatrician location to anyone. The care team seemed quite impatient, and Dr. Schulman was not interested in further understanding the health concerns that we raised. We went to a different pediatrician office outside of Northwestern Medicine with the same concerns, after our child's health concern worsened and turned into an ER visit. The new pediatrician was much more helpful and did indeed confirm that our initial concerns were very valid. Dr. Schulman should've been able to catch the clear issue before it got worse, but he did not care enough to investigate when we asked him to (complacent, ego, took a "cookie cutter" approach in acting as if all babies are the same). We experienced another negative incident with this office where a staff member (Julie) left me a voicemail regarding scheduling care for my child. Julie forgot to end the voicemail message and left the voicemail running...they made a huge mistake. My wife and I heard their conversation with another colleague. The staff member was insulting my wife and I, and they were making fun of us about a scheduling inquiry we sent in the myChart app. That was incredibly unprofessional and very rude. My wife and I were shocked that someone would say such disrespectful comments to parents that are just trying to get help for their child. I called back to let them know that they left the voicemail running, and that I have literal proof of them insulting us. The staff member tried to deny the situation at first, and then they tried to place the blame on a Physical Therapy colleague at the office. I reached out to Northwestern Medicine Patient Relations Dept regarding the voicemail incident. Hopefully the dept talks to the involved staff member, and that staff member can someday learn how to behave appropriately in a professional setting and create a better care experience for all patients. Also to note, the Northwestern Medicine call triage line is very inefficient to navigate, and it is tough to get ahold of a particular office location that one goes to for care. Many other patients, call line agents, and the doctors themselves all expressed the same concern regarding the level of difficulty to get ahold of someone for care. I hope that this considerable issue can be addressed and fixed for other patients in the future. Due to the issues mentioned, my wife and I switched pediatricians and have found a different care location (not Northwestern Medicine affiliated), where we are receiving much better care for our child."
"I was not helped efficiently by the nurse practitioner nor the x-ray tech. It's important to listen to the patient and not just make assumptions based upon who my insurance is through. Mayri was awesome though and she deserves all 5 stars. She made sure I was ok and I was until I dealt with the other staff. I'm now going to be changing providers as I've went through, in less than 24 hours apart, disrespect from 2 Immediate Care locations and their E.R. Will not be returning!!!"
"First time here. Convenient to get to, easy, close parking and warm greeting once inside."
"I have end stage arthritis with limited use of my legs and hands.. I started PT almost two months ago and now can walk almost normally. My therapist's name is Megan and I owe her big time."
