"Do not recommend. They switch appointments around without consent. They are refusing to help me now. Edit # 2: Originally scheduled me with a doctor who doesn’t even work there. How? They had no answers. My only specification when making the appointment was “No male doctors” and who did they reschedule me with without asking? A male doctor. I called and asked about it and they tried lying to me that that’s how it was originally set up even though I have emails and texts showing otherwise. They told me to stop my medication and start the new stuff. Well I got hit bad with withdrawals when stopping and they wouldn’t give me any advice or even talk to me about it. They now are refusing to see me and got my primary doctor involved so no one is overseeing my new medication I started, which they prescribed me. They left me more hopeless and defeated than before I ever contacted them. Edit to add: now my patient portal account has been deleted. All my records are missing. Says “no connected accounts” when I log in with the information I logged in with just earlier today."
"Dr. Bansal and her team, always listen and explain so I can understand clearly what I need. She's so knowledgeable, professional, nice, cares about my care, and I'm grateful and fortunate to have her as my doctor."
"I have to believe that some of these five-star reviews are forged. I started going to A Ray of Hope in September 2022. My first provider with the practice was Dr. Bansal. I thought she was incredibly knowledgeable; however, I became frustrated with her lack of availability. I started seeing Joe Dalton about a year or so ago. He is pleasant enough, but I had to beg him to allow me to change medication as the one I was on was causing terrible side-effects. Overall I don't feel there is a human nor empathetic element to this practice. There is no doubt they did NOTHING for me as I essentially treated myself. They are a money-hungry pill farm. The Front Desk staff is also the WORST I have experienced ANYWHERE. Listen to the reviews that say the Front Desk team is rude. I was happy to make the call yesterday to tell them I have found a different provider."
"The front staff was friendly and efficient. Dr. Bansal has a nice upbeat personality. I like how she spoke to me privately about my mom instead of in front of her to spare embarrassment my mom would have had."
"Ray of hope? what a joke. Front desk staff is incredibly rude, they have absolutely no knowledge of psychology or how to talk to someone that is struggling. I would never tell a patient clearly in a crisis such rude and disrespectful things. It is wild to me that they employ those so unaware on how to deal with crisis, it is so strange that those working here clearly have not had any de-escalation training. If you or your child is in a crisis, do not go here. They are only interested in money, not patient well being. The person I spoke to tried to give me medical advice that was not a doctor. If they spoke to someone else in a crisis like that, I wouldn’t be surprised if the person followed through on what they were stuffing with. My advice to the front desk staff: If you have someone clearly struggling on the phone, keep in mind they may say things from an emotional place that they don’t mean. Don’t get mad at them for that, try and be gentle and redirect them."
