"She did help me and I admire her service to under served communities but the professionalism of her office is lacking. The supposed 24 hour call line is maybe answered in 4 or 5 days if you are lucky. Totally unacceptable for mental heath care. She always has a makeshift office and now she is set up in a depressing area in Wellston. 15 minute consultations are well over a hundred dollars even though my insurance didn’t cover anything. I like Dr. Lo but she only practices once a week and needs better administration of her office."
"Dr Lo started out as a great physician for me. Over a two and a half year period, however, she cared less and less. She moved her office to a dangerous neighborhood. She shortened office visit times. She changed her hours of business to an inconvenient day (yeah, just one day). She made myself and other patients wait hours for scheduled appointments (my longest wait: two and a half hours. Was seen at 430 for a 2 pm appointment). She continuously increased my medication, despite complaints from me that it was making me physically ill. Rather than listening to my issues, she wanted me to write them all out so she could review them later. Once I terminated services, it took them three months to get me a final statement, which is severely different from the record my insurance company has. I'm not sure if Dr Lo had a personal change in her life, or what, but this is no way to treat patients. It may be time to retire."
"The absolute worst experience I've ever had with a doctor! When I arrived for my new patient appointment, there was a woman that had been waiting 2.5 hours to be seen, clearly there was a problem with communication. When it was time for my appointment, Dr. Lo asked me if an established patient could go before me since her appointment wouldn't take long, which was fine with me because I wanted to have my appointment without feeling rushed. When I finally got to the back, she asked me for paperwork, which I had never received. This wasn't a big deal to me, I figured it's human error so I was okay with returning to the waiting room to complete the paperwork. Thirty minutes went by and she never checked on my progress with the paperwork, my anxiety was so bad at this point I cried. I had a major depressive episode 3 months ago, and I was extremely worried I'd run out of meds and those feelings would come back. Finally I went to the counter to get someone's attention, when she came out I let her know that I had scheduled another doctor's appointment and that I would need to go soon. She told me my appointment would be 45 minutes, then I asked her when she would be ready to bring me back. At that point she told me to reschedule, and asked her assistant to reschedule me. This man was so dry and heartless, I apologized to him for being upset because at that point I was sobbing and extremely worried. This man did not show a sign of compassion or emotion, and when I responded that I did not want another appointment, he walked away without saying anything. I went to see a psychiatrist for help and left feeling like I did the day I checked into the psych ward 3 months ago. For God's sake this is a psychiatric office, where was the care and compassion?"
"Seemed great, listened well and was very understanding at first. The first and only time I reached out to her via her assistant because I what I’d hoped was going to pass had turned into a major depressive episode, instead of making an adjustment in my medication, she told me to just “hang in there and call 911 if it gets any worse.” Then she stopped calling me back at all. Absolutely not ok. She’s the doctor, helping to keep me stable is her job! Dr. Lo is only interested in helping when it’s convenient for her. I can’t express how disappointed I was in her. What good is a psychiatrist if they don’t care when you actually need help? Don’t waste your time with this terrible excuse for a doctor."
"The absolute worst, unprofessional doctor I have ever seen. She is so dim witted that every prescription she had written was written wrong. She would either forget my name or mistake me for other clients. She prescribed me 3 times the legal dosage on a medication I didn't need to be on. I went to an appointment once and the entire power and flor of her office was shut down. I never got a call to cancel my appointment and they still tried to charge me a cancelation fee, which is illegal in MO."
