"This place has gone down hill quick. Submitted an allergy shot refill request 12/5/2023. We had our insurance deductible and max out of pocket already met in February 2023. I made it crystal clear that I had to have it filled in 2023 as my insurance would pay 100%. The shot bar nurse assured me that it would be filled and billed to insurance in December. January rolls around and I get a $900 bill because they submitted it to insurance January 4th of 2024. I've been to the office multiple times. I left my phone number for them to call back three separate occasions and so far no phone call and they keep billing me for $900 that I have 0 obligation to pay as they we're lazy and submitted the claim in January instead of December. Not sure if it's laziness or incompetence or a combination of the two.. I'll probably end up fighting it in collections. What a joke."
"Dr. Wolbert is a great doctor and some of his PA's are great as well. With that being said, communication is absolutely horrible!! I had to make multiple phone calls, and leave 2 messages, to get a refill on a preventative inhaler my son depends on. My pharmacy sent 3 refill requests as well. I'm really glad it wasn't an emergency, because we would've been in trouble. I miss the consistent care and ease of access this office used to offer. I know they can, and are capable of providing great patient care! I hope so much the recent reviews are truly considered, because clearly this is an issue."
"I am sad to write a bad review, but this medical practice has unfortunately let me down multiple times. When I first started, staff was awesome and easy to get a hold of. I really liked Dr. Wolbert and felt as if I were in good hands. Over the years I have been a patient, it has steadily declined. I’ve had encounters with rude front desk staff (the new girls are much more kind), an experience with a tech who was impatient and even chuckled at me while doing a breathing test (I was having a hard time due to a serious medical condition), numerous challenges getting a hold of staff via phone and text line, and have had multiple issues with prescription refill. I always see a different PA who wants to prescribe a different medication and I feel no sense of patient continuity. The most recent issue is realizing I was sent the wrong medication when I went to pick it up at the pharmacy. I have made multiple attempts to call the office and talk to someone who can explain why this medication was sent without my approval and to make appropriate steps to get the correct one sent. Their voicemail (which I was automatically sent to each time I called) promises a return call within 24 hours. It took a total of 7 phone calls and one email over a week and a half to finally get the right medication sent over to the pharmacy. I was out of my inhaler the whole time. Not once did I get an apology (except for what was posted from the office on this Google review…if you can even count that as an apology). It is very sad patients must rely on this type of healthcare service to breathe. I am loosing faith and trust in the medical field."
"Shannon provided my 1 year old son with a prescription for the wrong medication. She was SUPPOSED to provide one for allergy medication but provided one for a supplement for dialysis patients instead. I would use EXTREME caution if you actually use these people. But it would be best and safest to not use them at all. I received a call from a receptionist asking if I wanted the correct medication and not another word. My son took this medicine for almost a year because I blindly trusted these doctors to write the correct prescription."
"Dr. Wolbert and his staff are fantastic, and we had a great experience in his offices. The waiting room is full of activities for kids, and they made the effort to make sure that my 1.5 year old was comfortable during everything. Unfortunately, the 3 stars is for lack of communication. Getting them on the phone is impossible. I have called and left voicemails 6 times in the last 2 months, and sent 2 emails to the front desk. I only ever received 1 call back, and they immediately transferred me to another voicemail and I never heard back, again. We live in San Angelo, so I can't just hop in the car and pop over to get what I need taken care of quickly. If you are local, they are a great choice and you won't be disappointed with the care. If you are not, I'd highly recommend looking elsewhere and saving yourself the frustration."
