Dr. Hunaid Dollar

"Do yourself a favor and find somewhere else to go!!! I've been 3 times... and each time I was taken back no sooner than 45 min AFTER my appointment time. No regard at all for your time!!! I had to fill out new paperwork today... I asked why... lady said "because it's a new year".... ok fine. I start filling it out... one of the questions on there was "what's your sexual orientation".... Seriously? What does it matter? And what business do you have asking that?? I asked the lady what's the purpose of that question and she answered "the government requires it on their paperwork". Just ridiculous!!! The front desk smells like cigarettes too... I only met Dr. Dollar 1 time and he was sooo hard to understand. I will never go back to that office again."

"LONG REVIEW: When I moved I had to find a new doctor so. I needed to schedule a well exam as well as an appoint for other issues I was having. I call Dr Dollar's office to see if they could help me in that area and they said yes and scheduled me an appointment. When I got to the office and told him the issues I was having he told me he would send a referral to see an ortho as well as a cardiologist. I get the the front desk to set up my follow- they hand me my paperwork and I leave. I never received a call from any specialist so I go look through my paperwork and realize there is no referral information and who they sent the referral to. I called Dr. Dollars office back I was told that I had to find my own ortho and own cardiologist and when I did to call Dr Dollar's office back so they could send the referral then. Frustrating but whatever okay. So I first called around to find an ortho that took my insurance and when I finally found one they said they needed the referral sent before they could schedule me appointment. By the way they had an appointment available within the week which is surprising because getting an appointment as a new patient for specialist usually has a wait time. So I called Dr Dollar's office back with the information and they then tell me that they have to send the referral to my insurance company for approval and that can take anywhere between 24 and 72 hours upon approval. Once insurance accepts it I would be notified upon approval and then they would release it to The Specialist of my choice .  Not only did the original spot that was open get filled I never received a phone call about my referral being accepted or denied. I've never been to a doctor where I had to find my own specialist before a referral was sent. Any doctor's office I went to has sent a referral to one of their specialist for me. It was was insane to me that they were running their practice that way and when I asked them about it they blamed the insurance for the policies. And when I called them out on it knowing that's not how the insurance works and that is something their office has put in place because I've had the same insurance for years and never had this issue before they wanted to drop me as a patient, which was fine because I already planned on switching doctors. Since then I've found a new doctor who doesn't make their patient search for their own specialist unless they choose to further confirming what liars they are."

"Called to schedule a new patient appointment, after I had already checked their website to make sure they accept my insurance. While on the phone, the lady asked me who my insurance was through, I told her, she said they do not accept that insurance. I told her I was looking at it listed on their website. She forwarded me to someone else who literally told me the same thing, and that they have never accepted that insurance. Maybe they should change it on their webiste..."
