"In a December 20. 21 near Santa Fe New Mexico. I lost control, the truck and trailer we're totaled. I called Allstate and notified them while at the scene of the accident. While on the phone I found out that Santa Fe did not have any car rental companies and the closest rental car company was about 120 miles in any direction. I asked Allstate how I could get there, I was told they didn't know but it was up to me to get there, they would rent the car when I got there. There were no services in the town, no bus, no planes, no taxi, no uber, nothing. I contacted Allstate back again in the morning informing them about my dilemma, I was told that I had to get there but they could not help me. I had to hitchhike out of the town. I asked several people before I found a person going towards a town not in the direction I was heading but I was desperate, Now, to help the reader understand what my real problem is besides them not providing me a ride to the rental. If Allstate is willing to leave me stranded in the middle of nowhere, think about it being you, you're 16 year old daughter or son, your grandparents, you live 1500 miles away and they tell them what I described above leaving you/them abandon, would you feel you were in "Good Hands", I don't believe so. As you can tell I am here today nothing happened to me, didn't have to defend myself or got robbed but frustrated that they are leaving their policy holders vulnerable and not caring enough to make a reasonable exception for such an extreme case as stated above. David kubicki also left me hanging when it came to the trailer I was hauling, I'll try to explain in another post as the scenario is too long to be posted together. Don't use him as your agent!!"

"Terrible! I had some kid on my coverage for however long and didn’t even know how he was added or who he was! No manager has called me back for reimbursement for that issue and I have emailed and left messages. I have called to add/remove vehicles to my policy with no answers from the office and no returned calls. I recently added a new vehicle to my policy (over the phone) *when someone finally answered* and the vin is not even entered correctly."

"Things started off really well. I was super impressed. What I did not expect to happen was this lack of communication. They would not answer their phone, and leaving messages was useless. No return call . I switched from State Farm to Allstate. I'm now regretting every bit of it. I've moved to a different agent. If this one ends up being a dud too, I'll be going back to state farm. Ladies, if you are reading this, you really screwed up. We all understand getting overwhelmed, but not letting people know that, and reassuring them you are not ignoring them, is a HUGE NOT. You disappointed me greatly, and totally wasted my time. Now I'm having to start all over."
