"It’s 12:37am and NO CHANCE OF SLEEPING because the music from the rooftop bar is INSANELY loud. We asked twice to have it turned down, but I guess that’s not happening either. Our room on the 5th floor is literally vibrating. Just updated by management that the DJ plays until 1am and we will have the same issue again tomorrow night. This should be clearly stated on the website for people who plan to sleep before 1am. Not a fun surprise when you have to be up early."
"I definitely recommend this place for a staycation. I needed a quick reset but didn’t want to go too far. I felt like I was away. The view from the roof top is breathtaking. There’s a bar and inside sitting area on the roof top. I will be returning in the Summer. The decor is really nice and modern. I loved the art throughout the hotel. Staff were professional and helpful. The room was clean. If you like Cajun food, try the restaurant next door. It was good. The day I went, there was a class reunion. So there were a lot of people there, including an R&B DJ. I’m not sure if that’s the usual vide. Food was good! The hotel is near to a lot of restaurants and places in downtown Dallas."
"Really like that they repurposed this old warehouse building. Service was excellent and room clean. I had a corner room on the 4th floor. Now… the not so good part. The restaurant has a “forced gratuity” on food. I was one party eating breakfast (which was decent), however on my tab, they automatically put a 20% gratuity on it! Folks this is not a gratuity if it’s forced - call it a “fee” or something. Bottom line, take it off my tab! I called for a manager. She removed it with no questions asked. In reality, I did tip the waitress (in cash and above 15%). WARNING to the customers: Don’t fall for this. Watch your bill and pay attention. This is a sly way of getting more money out of you. Other than the bogus forced gratuity, nice hotel on the south side."
"I chose this hotel randomly because I didn't want to stay at a chain. I was delightfully surprised! With less than 80 rooms, it was so cozy and intimate. The hotel had this vintage-industrial chic style, and I loved every bit of it. From early 20th-century posters to exposed brick walls and concrete floors to open ceilings and retro furnishings... all so well done. Cyrus and Jacob worked the front desk, and they were super friendly and helpful. Great drinks at the bar in the lobby and good food, too! Fantastic view from the 6th floor bar as well. I had a deluxe king room, which was a corner room offering a wall of windows and L-shape layout. And I could hardly believe they offered FREE parking! I can't wait to go back!"
"They have a very nice rooftop bar that's open until 2. Heated pool on the roof with cozy seating areas. Drink prices are a bit high, but they are good and strong. The place overall has an industrial feel with concrete ceilings and visible piping. I am not a fan of how tall the sinks are. The one in our room was tall, plus it sat on top of a table structure. It was a challenge to be able to bend over it slightly for oral and facial hygiene. I would guess it's made for much taller folks. I'm around 5'4"."
