"Jennifer Pickett is the first doctor I’ve had take me serious, I’ve been pushing since I was in highschool to have one specific set of bloodwork ran/area checked and never had a doctor do it, she ran the blood work without me even asking just as a precautionary. From 16/17 years old to 23 years old I feel like I’m finally one step closer to answers about my health. She’s incredibly personable and easy to get along with. She listens and cares. I felt so dumb at my first appointment because so many questions she asked I had told her I didn’t know if anything was “off” because I’m postpartum but I’ve also dealt with things for so long and been told it was my normal. She read between the lines anyways and I’m glad. My only complaint isn’t about her but if you get a call from the office and call them back quickly you won’t get a response, so even if they say call us back just go through the portal instead."

"Went 7-28-23 for follow up the nurse came and wanted my Sd card from my Cpap machine in April they got Medicare to get me a new machine. I told her my new machine is wireless and doesn’t have a sd card. She said I should buy one and use it why have wireless machines then is my question. She called me into exam room started telling me I wasn’t in compliance of using my Cpap multiple times. Blaming me and Adapthealth. I explained I used it every night even had app connected to my phone showing daily results. She was rude from them moment she first talked to me. She tried to call the company (adapt health) about not being able to see my results and stated they set up machine wrong “they don’t know what their doing” and all I can do is say your not in compliance. I then told her there is no reason for her to be rude to me because she had been from get go. I asked if there was a manager I could talk to about her being rude and she stormed out of exam room while muttering something rude I then left. I called adapt health and explained to them. I never saw dr or got to have my appointment. She never even identified herself. I tried to write a new review but it won’t let me so I had to edit an old review UPDATE Dr Gurru himself called me and asked me what happened I told him what happened and he apologized and said he would take care of it at his office. This matters. so I will be adjusting the stars up. I have only been going here for like 13 years or so"

"I would love to be able to give this more stars. The in-person staff and Dr. Guru have been wonderful. The remote worker they have, Ermalyn D., is the absolute worst! She insults patients, and she told my husband he was an inconvenience to Dr. Guru and all because she is incompetent. She keeps messing up orders to Midland Memorial for a much needed treatment. Midland Memorial is trying to work through it but she doesn't fix her clerical errors so they can't process the orders. Has been going on since the first of November and she still hasn't fixed the orders. She gets mad because my husband is contacting the office about his much needed treatment. Recommend going somewhere else until they help her out the door."

"Waited over 2 hours for an appointment. Receptionist was getting ready to leave for the day before we were called back. They have all these signs about the importance of patience being there on time for their appointment, and if you can't wait past your appointment & want to reschedule, they will charge you a fee, if you cancel or reschedule with less than 24 hrs notice, they'll charge you a fee, but it's okay for them to make you wait an hour or more past your appointment. There were multiple people complaining about waiting an hour or more past their scheduled appointment. The staffs excuse: our doctors are specialists. Well if they're so special, then they shouldn't be overbooking appointments. They think they're time is so precious that they deserved to get paid when patients "waste" their time by canceling, rescheduling or being late, yet they completely & utterly disregard their patients time."
