"Robert is honest and knows his appliances. He came out to check my old KitchenAid convection oven in October 2022 after it burnt some fish sticks ( don't act like you won't eat fish sticks). He pulled it out, tested everything but couldn't find anything wrong. He explained we could pull the board and send it to be rebuilt or keep using it if it stays within reasonable temperature and works. While it does make a sound like squealing car breaks, it is still working. Because it is a microwave/oven combo, replacing it is also going to be a challenge in the post pandemic world. Robert advised there is no reason to go top of the line when it's time to replace, but warned also don't go cheap. This week my 16 year old whirlpool washer started making wild noises during spin and throwing plastic particles in the tub. Texted him for opinion to fix or replace. He promptly responded requesting additional info to make likely diagnosis and confirmed it is not cost effective to fix. He is knowledgeable of brands and candid about repair options. I am certain i will continue relying on his expertise."
