"I love Barking Hound Village! For years I've been trusting them with the care of my pooch when I need to go out of town. They are very responsive to booking, quick to cover all the bases to ensure my dog has a great stay. I love that they post photos on their Facebook of all the dogs playing daily so I can check in. Also they welcome texting and calls to get updates on how my dog is doing, which is reassuring when I'm traveling. I really appreciate their hospitality with my dog and me as his mom. It's reassuring to know he is being fed, given his favorite treats, toys, and blanket that gives him the comfort of home while staying at BHV. I highly recommend kenneling your dog at BHV."

"Barking Hound Village is in a class of its own! I swear, my dog is happier here than at home (is that bad?!) The staff is fantastic with the pups, and they get hours of play together each day. You know the dogs are having a great time with the plethora of happy doggo pics posted on Facebook day after day! Thank you for what you do, BHV!"

"I am very grateful to be a part of the BHV family. My pup is always happy going there and leaves with a smile. I am also grateful for the owner, Vanessa, to be so quick to reach out personally, when I needed it. They have shown to be understanding, caring and compassionate. The pups go out in 20 minute intervals, which is great for Leo. He gets ample play and breaks, to balance it out. Jonathan also always makes us feel welcome, supported, and patiently answers questions when Leo boards. I appreciate BHV taking the time to understand each parents needs. As well as showing compassion and helping them feel heard and cared about. I’ve also seen the same team, since we’ve started going there about a year ago. Retention in this climate is tough, and getting to see the same familiar faces with every visit, says a lot :)"

"BHV was such a great place for my dog. The staff (especially the owner, Vanessa) were always super helpful and wanted nothing best for Mickey! Mickey has a huge personality and can get over stimulated sometimes so I won’t be taking him there for a little bit but I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone other daycare with my dog! They are an open book and loved that about them! Fully recommend!"

"Let me first say I have never written a review for anything online ever, but when you come across a place like BHV Austin, you can’t help but want everyone to know how amazing this place is. My dog has been going to BHV now for over 6 months, and I have never seen her get as excited as she does when we walk into BHV for a stay. My dog is also somewhat challenging (and probably needs more accommodations than the average dog), and BHV has been so incredibly helpful, attentive, patient and sweet with her. We used to go to another daycare in Austin, and the experience I had with them versus the one with BHV is night and day. BHV really cares about each individual dog & their individual needs, which was not my experience with the other daycare. From the very beginning, BHV has always put in the extra effort to make my dog feel comfortable & thrive there. BHV has also been extremely accommodating with me and my schedule, as I’ve dealt with constraints on my schedule for different things the past 6 months. Moreover, every person who works here is incredibly kind & professional, and you can really tell they care about these pups. If you’re looking for a place to send your dog for daycare or boarding, you can stop reading reviews now and take them here, because this is the best daycare/boarding in Austin. Whenever I take my pup to BHV, I know that she is safe, happy and very well taken care of."
