"These guys really know their stuff about classic (old) cars! I took the carburetor from my 1968 Plymouth Fury III convertible to get it rebuilt, cleaned, and adjusted, and it came back looking brand new! Shannon, the owner, listened to my concerns and offered his opinion and was able to get my work done in just two days. He called when it was ready and even stayed 30 minutes past closing for me to pick it up when I got stuck in traffic after work. They can tell you just about anywhere in town to fix get any particular part fixed that they don't repair! These people are gems! So few people focus on classic, older cars, and it was refreshing when they were as excited about my car as I was!"
"News reported this business scammed customer for over 10K and has been holding on to his vehicle for over a year without fixing it. This is the $hittiest part of town next to COMO and Stop 6. Steer away from these crooks!"
"Do not use this business! Chad Higgs / David Sheshner or whatever name he decides to use. Dynamic industries, LS solutions or whatever name the business is as it all changes every few months. Guy is a scam artist, liar and a terrible mechanic. It took me a year to get my vehicle back for it to be in worse shape now than it was when dropped off. Truck doesn’t run, and when it starts it leaks and misfires. A huge waste of time and money. I paid for a new 6.2 W/6L80e. After taking it to a reputable shop, engine is a worn out 6.0 with ls3 (823) heads. The heads have bent rods and a bad valve. Engine was not rebuilt, transmission had to be rebuilt as it slipped under load, no stall converter, nothing that was ordered was installed. The dual tanks were disconnected after paying for both tanks to work, as they did when dropped off - fuel lines were ran right next to the exhaust and he used water/air lines instead of fuel lines! Please look at his reviews on Facebook Chad Higgs/David Sheshner LS scam!"
"TOTAL SCAM! Using this shop was literally the WORST decision and a complete nightmare! He had our 84 k10 truck for almost a year to do a LS swap that we were told would take 3 weeks. His communication skills are essentially non existent but when you do hear from him, everything he says is a complete lie! One excuse or sob story and empty promise after another about how he’s short staffed but working on it or it’s getting tuned or at the exhaust shop and will be ready for you to pick up in a week. Our truck came back in worse condition in every way imaginable than when we dropped it off. Not only did he wreck our 1 owner never been wrecked before all original truck into the neighbor’s fence and not have it repaired properly, there were new scratches and dents (not related to the wreck), the interior had been stained up, window tint is ruined and has to be replaced, the windows don’t roll up/down properly anymore, he broke the blinker/cruise control switch and replaced it with a cheaper part (original was the chrome version) and broke something in the steering column itself so the blinker switch won’t even catch. None of the things he was paid to do were done properly (if at all) or with the actual parts that were paid for. He used a 6.0 instead of 6.2 engine. The engine wasn’t even rebuilt and is just some old junker with bent valves and lord knows how many miles. Nothing was properly secured or aligned. He offered us a partial refund (which he never paid) and surprise surprise guess who has conveniently disappeared. We had to take our truck to a completely different and reputable shop and pay to start all over. If you are thinking about using Chad/David/whatever he goes by now, do yourself a favor and set your vehicle and any money you have on fire instead."
"Hi. I had Cadillac done with an LS2 swap. David did an excellent job. Contact the owner of the business and have him provide you with my contact information and you can come see for yourself my vehicle that he worked on. I don’t know who these people are writing these terrible reviews because that shop doesn’t do any work on carburetors, and the other review talking about an LS swap is obviously from somebody who is either a competitor or fictitious, because there is nobody by that name that went to the business after I asked the owner myself. Again, please get referral information from the owner and contact me and come see in person what he did on my 1986 Cadillac. He has also done follow up visits (came out in person) and helped me with some of the after project fine tuning and small adjustment issues that you always get and need to do whenever you undertake a big project like this. Never had a problem reaching him or getting something addressed immediately afterwards. He’s backed up his work and did a good job. Really couldn’t ask for anything better and I am satisfied with what was done. Again come see for yourself. My vehicle is on display at a public garage in Dallas."
