"This is a beautiful place to visit they have gorgeous animals/habitats, it is the first zoo I ever seen which is free, they also have beautiful events all year round (these are the occasions when you have to pay to get there but they absolutely worth it!, I recommend to buy the tickets in advance in their website), it has lots of parking, definitely this place is a must in St. Louis, love and recommend it! β€"
"I was invited by my brother and his son, who brought his son. A 3 generation boys night out. That night (12/12) was a VIP event night. We got to see the penguins in penguin and puffin cove after close. Very cool. My nephew's almost 3 year old son was looking for bears, but they were not out. The event was a preview of wild lights at the zoo. The lights were good, but it seemed like it was missing something. Maybe it was a little smaller. The free drinks and cookies were good. There were a lot of toddlers and tweens with parents. The crowd was a good size, never too crowded. We enjoyed it. The gift shop folks were courteous and friendly too It is worth a look for the holidays. ."
"Fabulous day out with the family. I especially loved the dinosaur section, the amount of work and money it must've taken to get this looking the way it does was well worth the effort, there was a small charge for the dinosaur section. Everywhere was well spaced out, fabulous staff, fabulous zoo. A must visit for everyone. The zoo was free to enter, but I think the car park was $15."
"Always family fun! It's nice that the zoo is free, which is more incentive to spend money on food and such. There is so much to see and do that if you're looking at everything, it will easily take you the whole day to explore. The kids love going to the zoo, so much for them to do and see!"
"We enjoyed it just didn't get to see a whole lot of animals. It is a pretty nature walk though and beautiful. The train ride is good first thing in the morning but after that the lines were way too long."
