"Great pharmacy! They always have my son's prescriptions filled and ready before discharge. Super nice staff, I've stopped using Walgreens because a lot of times it's not it stock and I have to wait a few days to come in or they don't have a Pharmacist working that day, and it's a pain to have to keep going to different stores for his stuff. His doctors are there anyway at the hospital makes it a little easier."
"The staff at StLCH Outpatient pharmacy are terrific. They always go out of their way to help with insurance issues, contact other pharmacies to get meds transferred, etc. It would be great if they were a 24 hour option to accommodate early procedures and late night ER. If your child’s case is challenging, they are especially responsive if you call ahead and let them know you’re coming and what you need. They do everything they can to be ready for you."
"Be prepared to have everything taken care of on your end, script, refill, scheduled pick up and whatever else so you can think of, pay for parking and wait for an hour while they scramble to fill it because they don’t know what they’re doing. I have never experienced a pharmacy like it. And what’s more BJC refuses to see the need for a 24 hour pharmacy. If you’re being discharged you can’t go home with medicine. Childrens has some of the best nurses and specialists in the world, but every time I come here the inconvenience is too much. I wish they could see how this hurts their patients and weren’t so concerned about money. I don’t understand that disconnect."
