Steak 'n Shake

"Steak ‘n Shake restaurants in St Louis have all but disappeared and the quality was shaky for awhile but this location is the BOMB! The employees are amazingly friendly and quick. The food is piping hot and so fantastic. This change has just happened in the last few months so please give this location a try! I was really excited to see the changes and I stop in for fries or a meal whenever I’m close to the airport. Thank you for making my childhood favorite place great again!"

"The food here is genuinely good. Hard to find a good smash burger these days hence the second star, but for love of all things holy if you are planning on hitting the drive thru plan on making a day out of it. I had to be at work at 8:30 pm (night shift) so I pulled in about 7:15 figuring I had loads of time. I didn't get my order taken until 7:30 and didn't receive my food until 8:05 at which point I sped off to get to work only to arrive and find they had given me someone else's food. Which admittedly was pretty good. Also when you go to order the guy will invariably tell you he can't hear you, so you say it it louder and a different girl comes on and tells you to stop yelling. I may try a different location this one has some serious issues."

"If you ever wonder why steak and shake is hung out of business, just visit one, prices are astronomical for THE TREMENDOUS TRASH THEY SERVE YOU. Tiny burgers, no more condiments. They fing charge 40 cents to add whipped cream to a shake. Oh yeah, and it's all swlf serve ordering and pickup, but they have to oddacity to ask for a tip on the kiosk. And they severely underpay employees! Avod any steak n shake you see. Btw, the burger in the Pic is $6. Almost smaller than a McDonald's single cheeseburger."

"Most rude employees I've ever had the displeasure of dealing with. It was my first time at S&S and I wasn't sure what I wanted to order immediately. The cashier was extremely impatient and tried to make me feel stupid. If you enjoy S&S I suggest going to a friendlier location."
