"I had a septoplasty some time ago to fix a deviated septum. At one of my follow up visits, I told the doctor that I still couldn’t breathe very well. He told me that my deviated septum looked good and that I should be breathing better even though I told him I was not. I felt written off and sought help elsewhere. I eventually found out I have nasal value collapse so it would have been nice if the doctor had actually tried to see if there was another issue instead of insisting I should be breathing better."
