"My experience renting from City Wide has exceeded the expectations I had prior to moving in by far. I moved into my unit knowing that it was an older building, and with that in mind I have had no major issues in my unit. It has all the basic necessities, which is really all I was looking for. Heat, AC, and plumbing have all been fine. Not a single problem with roaches or mice. For the price, space, and location, I don't think I could have gone with a better budget-friendly option for my living situation. My property manager, Kyle Rhine, has been nothing short of incredibly helpful and is an extremely responsive point of contact when needed. He has given me the impression he truly does care about the tenants."
"I am writing to share my disappointing experience with City Wide Apartments, particularly concerning the property management and overall living conditions. From the very beginning, there were significant issues. The property manager, Kyle Rhine, failed to conduct a proper first-day walkthrough with tenants, leaving new residents feeling neglected and uninformed. Despite claims of being busy, it was evident that Kyle spent more time socializing with co-workers than attending to his responsibilities. In my first week at City Wide Apartments, my car was towed due to a failure to save my car information in the system, leading to a mistaken identity. This incident caused unnecessary stress and inconvenience. Security concerns were further exacerbated when my bike was stolen within the premises. Despite the presence of security systems, the management was unable to provide footage for both my investigation and the police, raising questions about the effectiveness of their security measures. Moreover, the keycode system to access the apartment was unreliable. It frequently malfunctioned, leading to difficulties in both locking and unlocking the unit. Overall, my experience with City Wide Apartments was subpar, and I am relieved to have moved out. I sincerely hope that improvements are made to prevent others from facing similar challenges in the future."
"Rent from anyone else!! Horribly taken care of buildings, constant elevator breakdowns, dog poop in the stairwells and hallways often, mail theft regularly, roaches. This company has shut off my water without notice. They’ve shut off my electricity “on accident” and left my fridge OFF for hours leading to spoilage. Spend your hard earned income with another property"
"Just moved in October of 2023 so far so good apartments are small good enough for one person. 4 stars only because the heat can’t be controlled. Other then that Kyle my building manager is top notch. Kyle gets 5 stars for understanding life and making the process a lot easier. You’re the man Kyle and I appreciate you and what you do."
"This is by far the worst apartment I have ever lived in. I have had nothing but issues since I moved in with both property management and maintenance. The apartment was extremely dirty when I moved in, emergency maintenance calls have been ignored or not acted on, and I have never had a working smoke detector despite reporting it to management several times. Living here is a safety hazard and nothing is done without having to complain about it multiple times (which is a bummer because all of those I have corresponded with seem like genuinely nice people), there just seems to be such a disconnect between management and maintenance. We have currently been without heat for 5 days and it took 4 of those days to obtain a space heater from maintenance and we are about to be in single digit temperatures. This could be a beautiful property if there was simply more care put into it, but I would never recommend anyone to lease with them."
