"Amazing office and staff. UPDATE 11/29 - they got a new system about a month ago and for the last couple weeks cannot get thru over the phone and the new website does not let u send new messages or pay old balances so we are stuck calling in for simple requests. I hope they get this resolved promptly because I was on hold for over 1 hour yesterday to make an appointment."

"This is our current pediatrician and we could not be happier. After my experience yesterday this feeling was all the more reinstated. We are frequent sick-call participants thanks to all the daycare bugs and yesterday was incredibly busy. Apparently everyone is getting sick before the holidays. However, the staff continued to be incredibly helpful, efficient, and sympathetic throughout the entire process. I had never seen the office so busy before, but the staff handled the additional foot traffic with ease. When it was time to see the doctor, she took her time to help us understand what all was going on and didn't give off any sense that she was in a hurry. We left feeling at ease and very thankful for the care our family received!"

"The wait time to speak to anyone at this office is beyond insane! You call and call day after day and can never get through to anyone. I order to get anything accomplished with this office you have to physically go in to the establishment and even then you’re waiting at least 45 minutes to be seen by a doctor. They need to figure out something to improve efficiency and effectiveness because right now their methods are not at all conducive to good customer service or satisfaction."

"I use to love Lake Forest Pediatrics, and have been gong to them since my kids were born. However, this last week I have become very frustrated with their front desk/scheduling. Last week I brought my children in to be seen and the doctor requested a follow up. I went to the front desk to schedule my follow up and was informed that she had already shut down the computers for the day and would need to call. Since then my husband and I have both been trying to call. We have called 3 days, collectively been on hold over 3 hours, including me being on hold for 17 minutes just to be hung up on, and still have not had our call go through to make follow up appointments. Very frustrating that I am forced to call because you shut down your computer with patients still in the office, and now I can't get ahold of anyone."

"Northwestern Medicine is the #1 hospital system in IL and hands down the best choice for kids as well. My wife & I have our doctors at NM so naturally we want the best care for our kids. The pediatricians here especially Dr. Hamvas do a superb job treating our kids and the staff are always polite & professional. We typically come to this location being it's closest to our house in Beach Park but once in a while we end up at the Lake Bluff location depending on appt preference."
