"I've been a patient at the Rosin Naperville South location for 14 years. Excellent customer care & service. However, the corporation has a new distributor & I've been waiting a month for my supply of contacts to be delivered, only to find out that my contact brand has been been discontinued with no notification to my Dr. office. They need to really re-evaluate their new partnership. Totally unacceptable."
"The optometrist appointment felt like a positive experience and I felt like I left with the correct prescription, however I was not “seen” until 20 minutes past my appointment time. Their selection of glasses was limited, especially when looking for something trendy or in-style. When I did receive my glasses, I was extremely disappointed in how they looked, especially given that they were two different styles which I was told “I can’t barely tell”, so of course I didn’t notice when I was having a hard time seeing anything due to my previous pair being broken at work - which, except on anything but the lenses. Ultimately, I will likely not be returning, which feels disappointing. But given the experience and the fact that I was able to go to an online company and get glasses within 2 days of my appointment - rather than waiting the 3 weeks for my Rosian pair, and that the online company has a 30 day return policy, I rather go to a place where I know I can be happy with the end result, especially since I only wear glasses. Also - I did request to get contacts in the interim, while I waited for my glasses to come in, and was told that even though I’m a fully competent 34 year old, I would have to “take a class” in order to even get contacts and had no short term solition, which is what forced me to look for a second pair of glasses. Everyone there was very kind, which is one of the few reasons I am leaving 2 stars and is why I am disappointed that I won’t be returning."
"I usually don't give bad reviews, but I was not satisfied with the service I received. I understand that a new computer system slows processing, but every employee struggled with entering anything and spent 10 minutes working with a trainer to work. But I was really disappointed with the service afterward. My first pair of glasses was okay, but my second one was never sent. I had to call every week or every day to find out what was happening because no one would call me back. Finally, it was determined they submitted my glasses to the wrong laboratory because my insurance did not pay for my second pair. Finally, after two months, I have my glasses, and to be honest, I am not crazy about the prescription because I do not feel I see better with them. I am shopping for a new eye doctor in the future."
"I actually had a horrible experience. While the doctor was great and professional, the support staff was rather incompetent and was constantly confused about how to go about their job. After selecting a frame, I was told my glasses will be ready in 7-10 days. I call them two weeks later to check in and they kept me on hold till the line cut off or told me they cannot find my glasses but will call me back. After 2 more days, I go in person to check on my glasses and they profusely apologize because some how my glasses were never shipped to the lab and are actually still in the shop and the order was not submitted. I was offered a discount and was promised they would have my glasses shipped overnight to the lab. I was also asked to call back two days later for an ETA on my glasses. Guess what happened two days later? My order was still not submitted because they could not figure out which frame to process. I am entering my fourth week now without my glasses and my work and daily function is impaired. The lack of care and inadequate performance is unbelievable. Based on my experience, the staff at this particular branch is not trustworthy and is in great need of training on customer care and on their internal operations."
"Time for yearly eye exam! The optometrist at Rosin is friendly, professional and very knowledgeable. The office staff is proficient and likeable. They have lots of eye glasses frames to choose from and I go here every year.. I am never disappointed."
