"Very disappointing. I contacted Hoop several months ago for private coaching for my son over the summer. The coach assured me that they have a lot of flexibility and will work with our schedule to make it happen. Turns out, they have very little flexibility. Communication is very slow and sometimes you don't hear back for days. We were asked to come to the Rec Center for a class, which turned out to be closed. Then one day, we were sent a message at 4:50pm to come for a 5pm class. Eventually only 2 classes were provided and money for additional classes not refunded."

"Stay away from this program. Very poor communication all around from the moment you make your payment. They often cancel practices or switch locations, literally half an hour before practice, and the new location will be on the other side of town. You’ll pay for uniforms that will never get delivered, with poor excuses from Payton “we’re waiting for more players to sign up to put a big enough order to get better prices”, while they really have no plan to recruit more players. Coaches are ALWAYS late to practice and sometimes don’t even show up. My kid is 14 years old and qualified for the Elite team but never got to practice with a team because they never got to recruit enough players, but still had the courage to charge for the cost of a player in a “team”. The other 3 kids the same age ended up dropping out of frustration. They put my kid to practice with 7-9 year old kids because there were no players his age. My son was bored and not wanting to practice anymore."

"My daughter has been working with Hoop Generation 2x a week (1 private and 1 group skills class) and has dramatically improved in just 2 months. All of the coaches are so cool and professional—and they expect a lot from your kid, but give a lot of positive feedback—but not too much, which I appreciate! My daughter is learning how to work hard for her basketball goals and seeing how her practice turns into progress! That’s a valuable life lesson! I love this organization!"
