"We moved in May of 2020 it was a godsend at the time because we were paying very high rent ($850) in a house that was in very poor condition. the apartments from the outside looked very nice so i accepted the offer of a 4 bedroom 2 bath apartment, the inside is beautiful and well maintained! Lacy has been very helpful along the process explaining everything about the housing program in great detail! anytime we have had a maintenance issue they come right away and fix them. I have yet to be charged any fee for them to fix anything! they even have a small store in the office for buying houshold products and such with Harrison bucks. (you earn Harrison bucks by being a good tenant, i.e. paying rent keeping yard and porch clean helping pick up litter around the complex and so forth) the neighborhood does seem and feel a bit unsafe on a regular basis but as long as you mind your own you won't have a problem, been here almost a year and no problems with anyone because we keep to ourselves! the groundskeepers are always out working and maintaining the complex, they have great standards and i would reccomend to anyone who is need of low income housing. also they have security and security cameras every where which actually makes me feel safer because the neighberhood is a bit uneasy. all in all we have had a great experiance with New Harrison Homes"
