"I have trained under Master Park for many many years. He has taught me everything I've known since I started in 2000. He's been a great mentor, teacher, and friend to me, whom I look up to. As a kid growing up not having much role models or much guidance, Master Park has taught me a lot of discipline and became part of who I am today. There were a lot times my mom was unable to take me to tournements, so Master Park always made the effort to take me to these tournements and to let me compete. For that, I am always grateful to him for helping my family and I. I can also say my fighting techniques has definitely improved over the years where my reaction time more than doubled and control of power is far greater. Compared to Judo which I learned prior, tae Kwon do is far more fast paced and endurance levels are tested. "When my daughter and I were looking to begin our black belt journey 4 years ago, we visited many martial arts schools. I knew very little about taekwondo, but Grand Master Park’s school proved to be everything we wanted. It was close by, had a convenient class schedule for both kids and adults, and had kind instructors to patiently yet firmly train us in authentic Korean style. We also discovered this school is the main location for all of the major Unified Taekwondo belt tests in the Houston and surrounding areas. All black belt tests are held at this location, as well as the black belt seminars. Klein ISD also accepts this school as an off campus PE option, which we took advantage of. Achieving our black belts together took 3 years of physical and mental challenges, but Master Park and the other instructors’ encouragement made it fun. I’ve seen my child grow in confidence and leadership. We have both gained self defense skills, physical fitness and mental toughness, and developed lots of friendships along the way. Now, my youngest is starting her black belt journey. I highly recommend this school to anyone willing to work hard to achieve their goal!"
