"Horrible care. For the 3rd time in a row, it has taken us over an hour after our appointment time to see Dr Beffler. Without even an apology or some made-up excuse. This is a terrible experience for any patient and shows a lack of respect for our time. Just like this physician, we are employed as well, and if he can't respect our time enough to see us within a reasonable time frame why are we here vs another health system and physician group? Never again!! We are looking elsewhere"

"I was really shocked by how badly I was treated by Lavanda, who answers the phones at this clinic. I called around 1pm on July 3rd and explained that I had seen Dr. Ray at their clinic but was now seeing a doctor at Barnes. Lavanda cut me off saying, “this is SLU, not Barnes, you are calling the wrong place.” I told Lavanda that I had seen Dr. Ray at SLU gastroenterology and that I needed copies of my medical records for my new doctor. Lavanda replied in a rude tone, “We’ve never had a Dr. Ray work here. You’ve got the wrong place.” I told Lavanda that I had seen a doctor at their clinic and asked her to look up my name to see that I had been a patient there. Lavanda then hung up on me. A simple request for medical records and this woman refused to help me. I will not be going back to SLU anymore. And a quick look at My Chart showed I did see Dr. Ray, who was working under Dr. Schroeder."
